The next day didn't go as well as I thought it would be. Cole had noticed me around school and apparently (and sadly) had recognized me and couldn't stop leaving me alone. Every time he tried to come near me I would drag Emily as far as possible. I don't want to be seen talking to him or let alone near him after what happened yesterday. Ever since that incident all of Chloe's friends have been sending me glares every now and then.

Every class we had together he would always try to get my attention in any way possible. Luckily his excessive paper throwing to try and get my attention caused a disturbance to the class when it had accidentally hit the back of our teacher while writing something on the board. This, thankfully, had cause him detention. Every after class I would rush to the ladies bathroom because I know he wouldn't follow me in there. Once school ended I quickly made my way out and headed for the diner. And to add to my dismay, I've been told to work overtime since most of the employees didn't show up at work. Thankfully, the diner was deserted today and only had a few customers every now and then. A few more hours till closing time I was just fixing tables when a familiar face had entered the diner, again. He immediately sees me and smirks as he heads towards me. I groan as I try to head the other direction but he catches up instantly.

"What do you want?" I wipe a few more tables and head to the other direction again while he follows me like a lost puppy.

"I just want to talk"

"We have nothing to talk about, and can't you see I'm busy"

"There aren't even and customers" he looks around at the deserted place. I really can't get myself out of this one. I groan and roll my eyes and sit at the farthest booth so that my manager won't see me slacking off.

"Okay" he starts "why didn't you tell me that we went to the same school? No wonder why you looked so familiar"

"Why would I even tell you? And you clearly don't even remember who I am"

"Of course I do, you're Mrs. Tyler's daughter, Gina" I raise my eyebrow, is he joking or being serious with me right now. I just stare at him in disbelief, he seems to notice. "That's not your name is it" his face slightly turns a shade of pink as he regains himself

"Wait don't tell me I know who you are, you're Anna"

I shake my head

"Andrea?" he guesses

"No"

"Julia"

"Nope"

"Um, Andee, Kyla, Tiffany... Oh I know, you're Taylor, it has to be"

"No..no..no, and no. Go try guessing again you're getting closer" I say sarcastically and laugh as I see his unamused expression.

"Is it, Chloe?" He says sheepishly.

"Seriously? Are you trying to guess what my name is or are you just saying the names of the girls you've dated"

He groans "I give up! just tell me who you are, please"

"It's Jean" I sigh, not wanting to prolong this conversation and longer "Now what do you want?"

"Well Jean, I'm glad you asked that." He continues "I want you to be my girlfriend"

"Excuse me?" My eyes widen not really grasping what he said. He wants me to be his what!? What game is he playing? Does he really expect me to say yes when I've basically despised this person nearly all my life, he bullied me in middle school and he can't even remember my name.

"Well not officially, just my 'pretend' girlfriend" he explains "after that stunt we pulled yesterday I could tell Chloe was so pissed and affected by it. Sure I've flirted with a lot of girls in front of her but they didn't bother her this much."
