I open my eyes to see the beautiful sea extending in the horizon. The sun was setting, so the sky was in a beautiful shade of orange, red, and pink. I find myself sitting on the sand, a jacket wrapped around me. It was cold, but I felt warm. It was the kind of warmth you could feel even on the inside. The cool breeze fanned my face as the smell of the ocean filled my nose, and the sound of waves crashing by the shore, everything felt surreal. Not long after, I feel a pair of arms wrap around me. I didn't flinch or do anything. It was as if I was so used to his arms, it almost felt like home. Then I thought that it was him again, the guy that I kept on dreaming about. Just like every other dream I've had, I couldn't see his face. His scent was so familiar, as if I've already smelt it before. Maybe I have, but I just can't remember. Everything seems so right that I don't want to ever leave, I just want to stay like this forever. I tried to move but It's as if I'm glued to my spot. Then suddenly, the surreal feeling start to drain slowly, and started to feel so weak, and for some reason I get as if something heavy was pulling my down that I was starting to have a hard time to breathe. "What's happening to me?" I ask myself. I start to freak out and look at my surroundings, everything started to turn black. The sunset was disappearing and the oceans seemed to have become more violent. The arms I that was wrapped around me was now gone and I felt so cold and alone. I felt as if I was running out of breath, I didn't know what to do. It wasn't long until-

I woke with a start. I found myself all sweaty and breathing heavily. "Hey, hey are you okay?" I hear someone say. My eyes focus on someone sitting by the end of my bed, and see Cole. I shriek and immediately cover my top with a blanket. "What the hell are you doing in my room?!" I exclaim, on the edge of freaking out. I don't remember inviting him over. Waking up to Cole Sprouse in my room out of nowhere is not something I want to get used to.

"Well you weren't replying to any of my texts so I got worried and came here." He says. I look at him in confusion.

"Cole, it's a Saturday, I don't like waking up early on Saturdays." I say and see him frown.

"Jean, it's 2 in the afternoon. What time did you sleep at night?" My eyes immediately widen, it can't be that late. I quickly get my phone and see that there were a few missed calls and a lot of messages from Cole. I check the time to see that it was actually 2 in the afternoon "How long have you been here?" I ask.

"Not that long." He says "your mom let me in before she left. She's a really lovely woman."

"My mom let you in?" I'm finding it kind of hard to believe that my mom let Cole Sprouse in. But Cole nods "she told me to tell you that she'll be out the whole day."

I nod. I'm used to not having my mom around all the time. I know that I'm the only child but she prefers to work over time to be able to provide for all my needs and to pay the house. My dad sends money from time to time but it barely helps us at all. Some of my savings from the diner goes to my mom to help her with the bills. When times get super rough for both us, she works extra hard. We never ask help from my dad, she forbids it. It took me awhile to not see any of my parents for awhile but I got used to it already.

"So don't you plan on getting dressed or something?" Cole suddenly asks, breaking my train of thought. I furrow my eyebrows "for what?"

Cole looks at me in disbelief "you were supposed to go to my house today so that we could take care of bob, remember?" The look on my face probably says it all because he says "you forgot, didn't you?" He says with a frown.

I smile at him sheepishly "sorry." And he just sighs and shakes his head "you're a terrible mother, Jean."

"Sorry" I say again "I'll go get ready now." I say getting up from my bed. I grab Cole by the wrist "what are you doing?" He asks as I lead him to the door and push him out "wait for me downstairs." I tell him and quickly close the door. I make my way to the shower and take a bath to get ready. Once I finished, I put on something simple since we're only going to Cole's house today so I wouldn't really need to show off to anyone. I make my way downstairs and I instantly smell something really, really good. I see Cole in the kitchen cooking some bacon. His back was facing me since he was focusing on frying the bacon so I decide to wait for him to finish in the counter. Once he finished, he puts the bacon he was frying on a plate, and turns around to see me already sitting on the counter. He had startled look on his face. I must have surprised him since it seems like he had nearly dropped the plate. "Jesus, Jean. Don't surprise me like that, I nearly dropped the food." He says, putting the plate down and pushes it to me. I notice that there were also sunny side up eggs and toast. I just look at it since it almost looked too good to eat. It was a full-on breakfast platter. But the fact that Cole made it makes me kind of hesitant. Who knows what Cole could have put in here. I look at him, a suspicious look on my face. He furrows his eyebrows once he notices "what?" He asks.
