Louis' POV

My mom and Lottie came to pick me up after school. I was standing in the parking lot and soon I hear a car driving next to me. I hear Lottie's 'come on' and she opened the door for me.

"Hey." I said as I closed the door behind me, buckling up.

"Hey love, how was school?" my mum asked and I just shrugged. "It was okay."

"Did you talk to Harry?" Lottie said with a very smug voice. "Yes." I just simply said and chose to ignore her. It annoys me when she starts bombing me with thousands of questions.

"... did he say to you? Was he being nice? Do you like him? I swear to god if you like him-"

"Lottie! Stop!" I cut her off. "It's not your business." I snapped.

"Oh- okay. Sorry." she said quietly and I immediately felt bad for snapping.

"It's fine, Lots. You just always ask so many questions whenever I make new friends." I sigh. "Just for the record, he is very nice. But I don't think he is even gay." I said, a little disappointed.

"Oh.. that sucks." Lottie said apologetically, dropping the subject.

"Hey mom, Harry asked me to come to a party today, can I go?" I asked.

"A party? Louis, I don't know. I mean, just imagine what could happen-"

"Mom, nothing is going to happen. I've got Harry and his other friends with me there the whole time. I'm not going alone. I can't live in fear that if something happens." I say, pressuring the last two words. Something could happen right now, we could like get in a car accident. Life is uncertain, but you can't live in fear that if something bad happens.

I hear my mom sigh as we stop. "Fine then. But call me if something happens or if you just want to go home." my mom says and I nod, opening the door. "I will, I promise. Thanks mom." I say, giving her a hug.

Lottie takes my hand and drags me inside. I know what is about to happen.

"You have to let me dress you! Please, please, Louis!" she begs and grips my shoulders.

"Well fine, if you stop squealing." I say, wincing at how loud she is.

"Yay!" she says and hugs me. "Come on." she says and takes me upstairs.

"Okay, so how much time we have?" she says and sits me down on my bed.

"The party starts at 8pm, I don't know what the time is though." I say.

"We have like two hours. Okay, you take a shower, and I'll check out your wardrobe if you have anything nice to wear. Remember to wash out everything real good, maybe you could turn Harry gay." she says giggling and I burst out laughing. "Yeah, right." I say and walk to the bathroom, locking it behind me.

I strip down from my clothes and step into the shower, turning the water in the perfect temperature. I was my hair and body 'real good'  just like Lottie said, and after that I wrap a towel around my waist. I put on some deodorant and shake my hair a bit so that the excess water leaves my hair. I take my dirty clothes and drop them to the washing basket and walk back to my room.

"Finally you're ready." Lottie says just as I step into the room. "Okay, I gathered some outfits for you, you just have to decide which one you think is the best." she continues. Lottie leads me to stand next to my bed, takes my hand and lets me feel the clothes.

"Those are the black Calvin Klein jeans that mum bought you few months ago. Remember?" she asks and I nod as I feel the nice fabric under my touch. "They look nice in my opinion. With the jeans there is just a blue t shirt, but you could put on like a jacket over it. Your jean jacket maybe?" she says and I nod.

"Okay, the next one is dark blue jeans with your 'Killers' shirt, what do you think?" Lottie asks.

"I wear that shirt a lot, so nope." I tell her.

"Well the last outfit is your black shirt with white stripes over it and black jeans. You have three options." she says. I ponder for a moment and decide that the first one is the best.

"I'm gonna go with the first one." I tell her.

"Okay, get dressed and then I'll do you hair." Lottie says and exits my room. I walk to my wardrobe and pull out clean underwear for me. I drop my towel and pull on my boxers and jeans, then I ruffle my hair a bit with the towel and start looking for my hair drier. As I find it I start drying my hair a bit before Lottie does anything to it.

"I'm ready!" I shouted and then I hear footsteps coming to upstairs. I turn off the drier as she squeals "Yayy now the hair." I pull on the t-shirt and she drags me to her room.

"Sit." she commands and I sit on a chair in front of her makeup table. First she combs through my hair and styles it in a easy fringe, then sprays something in my hair, making me cough. She giggles, and after a moment she tells me that I'm all ready.

"Thanks." I say and give her a hug. I would probably look like a mess without her.

"Glad to help, Lou." she answers. "You should probably eat something, you still have time." she continues and I nod. I head to downstairs and head my mom making something in the kitchen.

"Well don't you look good." my mom says as soon as I step into the kitchen. "Thanks." I blush.

"Could you make me a sandwich or something before I go?" I ask.

"Yeah, sure dear. Let me just put this pie in the oven." she answers. I hear some clattering and my mom's quiet singing. She always sings or hums to some random songs when she cooks. I wish I could see how she looks. She is probably really beautiful.

"Here you go." she says and I hear a plate being placed in front of me. I dig in to my sandwich, and then I hear Lottie coming downstairs.

"Harry sent you a message." she says and sits next to me. "He says that her mom is taking him, Tate, Violet and you to the party, and they will be here in about 10 minutes and he needs you to tell him your address." she said and gave me the phone. "Who are Tate and Violet? How many new friends did you get?" she says and I roll my eyes.

"They aren't my friends, they are Harry's friends. Well, maybe later they will be mine too, but." I say.

"That's great Lou! I'm happy for you." Lottie says and I finish my food, and take my plate to the sink. "Tell him the address." I say to Lottie and she does, then gives the phone back to me.

"Alright, I'm gonna go now." I tell the two of them. They both give me a hug, they are always so afraid something will happen to me. They are quite overprotective, and well, this is my first party I'm attending. I'm not that popular.

"Just call us if you need anything." my mom says and I nod. I walk to the lobby and find my Vans, pulling them one by one to my feet. I rummage through my jackets until I find my black Jean jacket. I recognize it from the fabric, that's the only way I can tell what clothing is what.

"Bye guys!" I shout from the door before I close it behind me. Here we go.
