Song for the chapter: Boardwalks by Little May

Harry's POV

"What will we need in there?" I ask from Louis, and go through my clothes. We are packing things at the moment, we just had taken the tent from the dusty attic.

"Uh, some clothes. Take warms clothes too, like a sweater or something, it might be cold at night." he says, and I take my sweatpants and a hoodie from the bag. I decide to take my camera too, I almost had forgotten about it.

"Food of course, matches, swimming shorts, towels, sleeping bags, a flash light, toilet paper, our phones, uh what else?" he lists.

"Bug spray maybe." I shrug.

"Ah, bug spray. That we will need. And I want a pillow, do you want one?" Louis asks. "Yeah." I answer and watch as he gets up from the floor, and walks to downstairs. "And if we forget something, we can always come back to the house, the place we're going is not that far from here." he says after he comes back, and gives me a backpack. We both stuff our clothes and other necessary stuff into them, and after that we walk to downstairs with the backpacks, and the tent.

"Mom, can you help us? We need something to eat in there." Louis says, and Johannah turns to look at us.

"Yeah, sure hon." she says, and gets up from the couch. We follow her to the kitchen, and I watch as she opens the fridge, rummaging through the food in there.

"You can take these." she says, and takes a six pack of Coca Cola, handing it to Louis.

"We are gonna need a bag for these." Louis says, and places them on the kitchen counter. He walks away from the kitchen, an soon comes back with a shoulder bag.

"Mom, can you put all the food in here? I'm gonna go find the other stuff, and Harry you can help mom." Louis says, and skips away, leaving me to stand there in the kitchen with her mom.

I help Johannah to pack the drinks, some cookies, chips, fruits and sandwiches in the bag, as we talk about the weekend.

"So uh, Lottie told me that she saw you kind of like, close to each other in the morning." Johannah says with a smirk, turning to me. My eyes widen, and I slowly nod my head.

"Are you his boyfriend, or what is going on?" she asks, sitting down across from me.

"Well, yeah." I say, my cheeks pink.

"Aw, that's great! I'm so happy that he has found someone, and especially you. You are just, really nice. Such a gentleman. Just, please don't hurt him. He is very fragile, but he acts so tough." she says, concern clear in her voice.

"I won't, I promise. I really lo- like, uh, him." I answer. "Has there.. been someone else before me? Like, has he ever had a boyfriend?" I ask, and she sighs, looking me in the eyes.

"Yes, Jason. Louis used to date him ages ago, but once the accident happened, Jason broke up with him. He was so miserable, but he said to us that it is fine. It wasn't, and I could hear him crying at night, Harry. It was so horrible seeing him like that. Louis really loved him, and then he got his heart broken." she says, her face full of sadness. "Just, don't talk about Jason to him, please. And do not tell him that I told you, I know he doesn't want anyone's pity." she continues.

"I won't. Thanks for telling me." I answer, and give her a small smile just as Louis comes back to the kitchen.

"Are you ready already?" he asks.

"Yep." I say, and take the bag from the kitchen table.

"Well mom, we have everything now, so we will probably leave now." Louis says to her mom.
