Kyle
I wake up to the sound of my message ringtone. My face has literally become the Dead Sea in terms of salt capacity, and my bruise and lip feel even worse than before. I struggle to bring myself into a sitting position but force myself to do it. I reach for my phone.
It's only minutes to four in the afternoon. I check my notifications for the new message.
And then my eyes widen when I realise it's Malory. Malory Lloyd.Malory: Is your uncle there right now?
Why the hell does that matter?
Kyle: Why?
Malory: Is he?
Kyle: no.
Jeez you nagging nun
Malory: Where is he?
What in the world would you want to know that for?
Kyle: gone.
Thankfully gone... for now...
Kyle: Will be gone for some time.
Malory: two weeks, I know.
I'm going to report this girl
Kyle: Who even told you that?
Malory: who do you think?
Who would even know? The only person I've ever really told was R-
Ron! Why you-Kyle: that... little... -_-
Malory: get dressed
Kyle: What?
Kyle: Why?
Malory: I'm taking you to a doctor
Kyle: I'm fine, Lloyd. Bruises heal. I won't die from this.
Malory: just shut up get dressed, Davidson
Just shut up and get a life, Lloyd.
Malory: I'm right outside the compound.
Hah! You're right outsi-
Wait.Kyle: WHAT?
Malory: omg the guard remembered me, I feel so special :O
LLOYD, YOU INSANE IGNORANT IDIOT WITH AN IQ OF 2
Kyle: YOU'RE ALREADY WALKING IN?
Malory: tick tock, buddy. House... 2...
Before I can even think about what I'm doing, I call her. She answers almost instantaneously.
"La de da de daaaaaaaaa-House threeeeee..." she sings in an annoyingly jolly voice.
"I SAID I'M FINE!" I yell. "What's it gonna take for you to leave me alone?"
"Come to see the doctor," she says, "I at least pitched in and told the principal you were sick but you can't just show up without an excuse and she said you needed to have a signed one so I'm taking you to a doctor to get a signed excuse. Is that simple enough for you to understand? You won't lose any marks as long as you give her that proof. What? You're actually planning to walk into the office and say 'I'm fine'?"
Wait.
Hold up.
"You..." I begin
"Mhm?" She mutters.
