Chapter Nine

"Autumn."

I quickly turned around to find Mama McCall making her way down the hall towards me, "How is she? Is she gonna be okay? How bad is it?"

"Breathe..." She smiled lightly and placed a comforting hand on my shoulder, "It could have been worse. A lot worse, actually." She then turned towards Theo who had decided to tag along, which Stiles was still pouting about. "Theo, nice going on that tourniquet. You probably saved her life." Both Scott and Liam walked up to the group which caught her attention for just a second, "Alright, she's about to go into surgery so it's gonna be awhile. Any other supernatural details that I need to know about or do we just stitch her up and hope for the best?"

Kira stepped up, "It was the tail."

"Yeah–" Scott nodded, "Tracy cut her with the tail if that makes a difference.

"Okay...I'll give you guys another update as soon as I can."

Then she was off towards where my sister was, and I was left hoping she was gonna be perfectly fine and that this wouldn't get any more awkward than it already was. If glaring eyes could put holes in someone, Stiles' would be doing just that to Theo right now. "But it wasn't just Tracy." Malia spoke up, "There were others." Everyone just stared blankly at her. "The guys in the masks. Tell them, Autumn!"

"She's right. There were three other people...things...who knows what they were, all I know is I've never seen anything like it before. The way they moved...the way they looked...talked...everything about them gave me the creeps."

"Well, let's hope that's the last time any of us see them."

"What do you mean Tracy was created and Deaton's up and left town?" I asked over the phone, peeking into my sisters room to make sure she hadn't woken up yet.

"That's exactly what I mean...Tracy wasn't born supernatural and she never received the bite. She's half werewolf half Kanima...she could bust through the mountain ash with no problem. Someone is making supernatural creatures and completely changing the rules of our world. The hole that Liam fell in when you guys went into the woods, we're thinking tracy came out of that hole. And going along with that...well...they've found another hole so from that I'm assuming there's someone else running around with abilities like this and we need to find them as soon as possible."

I would be lying if this information didn't make me want to ram my head into the wall, "Okay. So, what are we gonna do about this? Have you thought of a brilliant plan yet?"

"I guess for now just keep an eye out for anything that looks suspicious, anyone that could be the other person like Tracy running around town. Deaton said he would be back in a few days, I'm assuming he'll hopefully come back with some information about whatever is going on here. In the meantime, there's something I want you to do."
