Song has nothing to do with this I just like it.

I woke up the next morning with tears dried on my face. I hadn't realized I fell asleep at all last night and I didn't rennet coming home at all. Yawning I slowly walked to the stairs. I stopped dead in my tracks however when I saw Bucky standing in the living room pleading with Steve.
"Steve, please I need to talk to her." Bucky pleaded.
"You promised you would never hurt her!" Steve yelled  at him. Bucky had a very guilty look on his face. He looked desperate.
"I know, and I'm so so sorry. " Bucky cried.
"I thought you cared about her." Steve snarled.
"I do, really thats what this whole thing was about. Steve I'm so so sorry, I was scared you don't understand." Bucky blubbered.
"I think I understand perfectly. She's my sister I'm scared for her too but you don't understand James it's her dream." Steve spat.
"I'll make it up to her I swear."
"You made her cry." Steve snarled at him. Bucky looked like he just died on the inside.
  "I am so so sorry."
Steve started to push Bucky outside. I ran down the stairs. I nudged Steve out of the way and hugged Bucky. He seemed shocked but still hugged me back. Truth be told I wasn't mad at him at all. I always found it incredibly hard to be mad at him. In fact I had even started to blame myself for our fight last night.
"Kit-Kat I'm so so sorry I was scared and-"
I cut off Bucky's rambling by kissing him. I smiled brightly when I pulled back. "It's fine Buck, I'm not mad at all."
I looked at Steve giving him a warning. "And Steve shouldn't be either."
Steve glared at me and Bucky. "Fine." He grumbled.

That Monday I got up early and packed a small bag. I was dressed in my new army uniform.
I looked at Steve. He was just kinda staring at the floor. "I should be going."
I hugged him. "I know, don't give up Steve okay but when I get back you better be the king of Brooklyn and you should have a pretty and nice girl hanging on your arm too."
Steve chuckled. "I can't believe you thought I'd give up."
"I knew you wouldn't. But when you do rule Brooklyn still remember who you are Steve promise me that?" I asked.
Steve laughed again. "The kid from Brooklyn who was too dumb to run from a fight, got it."
"Katie?"
"Yeah?"
"When you come back I still want you to be the pretty girl from Brooklyn with an attitude." Steve said.
I smiled. "I will don't worry."
At that moment Bucky came downstairs also dressed in military attire I ran into his arms. He picked me up startled. "Hello, doll." He whispered in my ear.
I smashed my lips onto his. He kissed me sweet, passionately, and a little rough. Our lips fit perfectly. Bucky licked my lower lip a little. I hated when he did that. He felt weird and beautiful at the same time. I nipped his lip a little. He didn't seem to care though he kept kissing me.
Finally he pulled back so just our foreheads touched. I was screaming on the inside for his kiss. I hated what Barnes did to me. But at the same time I loved it.
Bucky made me feel so vulnerable at the same time my heart ached when I saw him. I can't describe how much I love him. Steve suddenly had a change in behavior and ran outside.
  "Steve!" I shouted.

I ran after Steve who surprisingly got pretty far. Bucky caught my arm. I struggled against him. Bucky turned me around.
"Let me go! He's my brother!" I snapped.
"I'll handle this, wait in the taxi." Bucky said. He pecked my lips softly before running after Steve.
I of course didn't listen. I ran after them but Bucky was already walking back with Steve. Steve walked by me.
"Steve?" I asked.
"I'm fine, have fun with Bucky." Steve snapped before walking inside. Bucky got my bag off the porch. He got in the taxi. I just stood there wondering what the hell was going on.
"Coming, doll?" Bucky called. I nodded. I got in the taxi and sat next to Bucky.
"Do you think he'll be okay with out us?" I asked.
"He should be fine as long as he doesn't try to be a hero." Bucky replied.
  "So he's screwed?"
"Yep."
"It's my fault he's like this. So little, cause he didn't get as much nutrition as I did in the womb." I said with a tear trickling down my cheek.
Bucky gently took my face in his hands, he turned my head so I would look at him. "It's not your fault Kit-Kat." He whispered.
Bucky wiped the tear away with his thumb. I wanted so badly to believe him but I just couldn't.
"I can't believe what happened. I feel terrible." I spat.
"Hey, hey look at me." I looked into Bucky's eyes. They were a light blue and filled with love and reassurance. I always got lost in his eyes.
"Everything will be okay." Bucky promised. He kissed my forehead. I rested my head on his shoulder and fell asleep.
