You groaned into your pillow when you realised last nights party had already left the bed, and most likely the building. You stood up, pulling your shorts off the floor and tugging them on, not bothering with a bra as you through on a shirt, not bothering to check whose it was. You stomping into the kitchen, turning on the coffee machine and leaning against the counter, letting a tear slip down your face. You had told the stranger everything, from watching your parents get killed by something to your 'coping' methods, and he didn't even have the curtesy to say goodbye.

"What's that meant to mean?" You blurted.
"It means you're special" he took a few brisk steps towards you, leaning over your ear and whispering "not to mention beautiful."
You froze, not even bothering to wipe away the last of your tears.
"No one has ever called me that" you stammered.
