Because You Choose......

Life was good or at least that's what it seemed so far. My life had changed after all the pain i went through and finally after so long of being utterly broken and hopeless i had finally learned to love once more. And this time it was with someone who did care and love me the same way i did for them and not because of who i was.

It all happened one morning out of the nowhere. I had just gotten back from my daily morning run in the woods. I went for a run every morning without missing a single day it had becomed sort of an obligation. I did it to make it up to my wolf. My wolf hadn't talked to me much since i had left my home town a while back. I went into the kitchen and found my faincee drinking orange juice and reading what appeared one of my books. I watched him for a bit before i went up to him. I kissed him good morning and got a water bottle from the fridge. I opened it and drank some and went looked at my fiancee and I couldnt help but smile at the sight of him just sitting there like nothing.

I sometimes regretted leaving home but then i thought of my fiaance and couldn't help but smile and know there is nothing to regret because here i have it all. Here i am loved and i feel wanted here. I was so lost in my thoughts i didn't hear Hunter at first.

"Baby? You okay" he asked as he looked at me and i couldn't help but smile at him worrying about me like always.

"Huh sorry i was in my own world what did you say?" i asked him and he laughed at me it wasn't unusual for me to be on my own world.

"That since you are going to take a shower in a few minutes, that if you wanted me to join you in the shower......" asked Hunter lifting his eyebrows seductively at me. I giggled he was such a perve but he is my perve if that makes sense? He was always trying to get us to be together in any way he could.

"Mmmm no thanks baby i think i can shower by myself." i said kissing him again and smiling at him he frowned and pouted and i just tried to hold back my laughter.

"If you say so but if you do change your mind you know where to find me...." he said and i saw he was a bit upset but covered it up quickly so i couldn't see. I went and hugged him from his back and burried my face into his back, I loved him he was my everything.

Hunter had becomed my live because of him i was who i am right now whithout him i would be most likely dead and no one would know because thanks to Hunter i had becomed someone again. He had given me a reason to keep going and showed me that there was good people and things out there in life you just had to keep trying.

"i love you." i whispered to him and i felt him sense my change in mood so he turned and took me in his arms and looked at me he knew what i was feeling even before I knew what I was feeling myself.

"i love you too Lex and always will okay don't you ever forget that" he said and gave me a peck on the lips.

Hunter is also a werewolf just like me. But he isn't just any kind of wolf he is alpha of his own pack. One of the strongest pack on the planet. He lost his mate a while back before meeting me he always tells me that i was like an angel that came and rescued him what he doesn't realize is that it's the opposite he saved me.

I meet him at a park,he was just sitting there on a bench at the park looking at the lake or maybe at the duckies that were swimming im not sure anyways I stared at him from a distance trying to understand why a guy like him was out here all by himself and he knew he felt what i felt.We both had lost someone we loved. I looked at him again and thought to myself before i headed to where he was.

I sat next to him at first he looked at me with this stare that told me to get lost but i didn't go anywhere i knew he needed someone to talk to. I know what it feels to have no one to talk to so i wasn't about to leave like nothing.. He had gone through something even worst than i had and i wasn't about ot leave him i knew what it felt to have noone to be by your side.
