Chapter 3: James

I remember I would stare at him during class 2nd period and think if he was cute or not

Then one day I had my friends over on Halloween and we all went out for trick-or-treat. When we came back and sat to eat our candy we were all talking when I finally made up my mind that I liked James

I told them and they were like: ewww, he is weird and he acts the same

But ignored it I really fell for him and I couldn't help myself

We all spent talking and bugging my brother and running around the house

The next day I went to my 2nd period class and James was there.

So my seat is all the way on the back and in the first row but it kind of put in a corner it's hard to explain

But there is a huge desk that sat an angle away from me that was for the kids that talked to much or were not acting right

Well James sat there all the time

So I walked toward my desk when me and James made eye contact I knew he wanted to talk to me

James: isis what was all that noise upstairs??

I was like what was he talking about

To note I live in a apartment on the 2nd floor

Me: what are you talking about??

James: well I was at Bella 's house and we heard a lot of banging and she told me you lived up there

To note again: bella is my downstairs neighbor (I tried)

I'm telling you I froze remembering how I was talking, and fantasizing of me and him and he was just right down stairs from me OH MY GOD!!!

Me: my friends were over so we were all messing around

He nodded

I walked over to my desk and then quickly asked him

Me: what we're you doing at Bella 's house??

James: oh she's my girlfriend

I swear I felt like in the movies I just plain out said

Me: oh...

My heart broke it hurt to know that bella was his girlfriend I felt like someone punched a little hole Into my heart

I tried so hard not to cry the whole period I couldn't even focus not with James in the room

After my 2nd period I walked straight to my 3rd period and sat next to this girl named Maura.

She is a pretty girl that is kinda of a popular kid and mostly gets along with anybody.

Maura: what's wrong?

Me: James has a girlfriend

She looked at me like 'so'

Me: I like him but....

I can't remember what happened after

Some time later after days pass I ran into Bella and we started to hang out she didn't know anything about me liking James

We talked and then we started talking about James

Me: ok don't get mad but I kinda of like him

She was completely cool about it
