26 - Cuddles

You were trying to write an essay, but Riker kept interrupting. He'd been in a weird mood all day where he just seemed very needy. You liked it at first, but now you didn't, considering you were still on the first paragraph of your essay.

Riker walked over, and wrapped his arms around you from behind.

"Come cuddle."

"Rik, I have work to do."

"Mmmm... Please?"

"Rik, I have to get this done for tomorrow. Please stop whining. We can cuddle later."

"No..."

"Yes. Why don't you go do something?"

"I don't want to. I don't feel good."

"What doesn't feel good?"

"My head and my belly..."

"Well then why don't you go take medicine for it?"

"I just want cuddles. Cuddles will make me feel better. Please?"

"Riker..."

He gave you puppy dog eyes.

"Oh, fine... But only for a few minutes. I have to finish this essay tonight."

Riker pulled you into his bed, and wrapped his arms tightly around you.

"You're not leaving anytime soon," Riker whispered.

"You know, I had a feeling this is what would happen..."

Later...

"Riker, I have to finish my essay."

"No..."

"Yes, I do. Come on. Let me go."

You try to squirm out of his arms, but he won't let go.

"Riker..."

"No, I want cuddles..."

"Rik, we've been cuddling. For a while now."

"I need more."

He tightened his arms around you.

You sigh, and then get an idea of how you can escape. You start tickling his stomach.

"Ah! Stop!"

He squirms around on the bed, giggling like an idiot.

You finally stop, and get out of bed.

"No! You meanie!" Riker shouts, sitting up.

"Rik, I have to finish this."

Riker groans as you sit down to finish your essay.

"Can't you at least come write it in bed?" Riker whines.

You sigh, and turn around to look at him.

"Do you really need cuddles that bad?"

"Yes..." He says, giving you puppy eyes again.

"Fine..."

You grab your essay and your binder for something to lean on. You get back in bed beside him, and he cuddles into your side.

"This is much better," Riker says, shutting his eyes, and smiling.

"Well I'm glad you're happy."

He snuggles down under the blankets and cuddles into your side.

"I'm very happy..."
