Constance POV
"What's wrong? Is everything alright?" I ask Ollie.
"Well..I know it's a bit soon...but will you go out with me?" He questions, blushing a deep shade of red. Astounded, I blink multiple times to make sure I heard him right. Memories of Ryder and the brunette are still playing in my mind making my fists curl.
"Yes," I tell him confidently.

It's been a while. Ryder died seven years ago in a car crash, it shocked us all. He and I were never meant to be. He lived his life for himself, and as much as I loved him in my own way I wanted what was best for both of us. At first Ollie was comfort for me, familiarity when everything went wrong; a distraction from Ryder. As time went on I realised he was the only person who stuck by me in thick and thin. I loved him the whole time and didn't even know it. That's why when he proposed, I said yes. We have a little girl called Evangeline together and we couldn't be happier. Ollie and I moved to the countryside to raise our baby girl. Every year we take her to see her uncle Ryder, she doesn't understand yet. Ollie and I were destined from the start.
