"It's not Joelle, is it?" I ask, suddenly getting worried. Do I want to hear this? Can I take it if he says he really likes this random girl?

"No, it's not."

"Okay."

"It's you."

I stare at Daniel for a few moments. He just told me he likes me. The guy I've liked for ages just told me he likes me.

"Violet?" Daniel asks, sounding unsure of himself.

"Sorry," I say, feeling bad for letting him wait for my reply.

"Please say something."

"I-," I start, but the thing is, I don't know exactly what to say. I look into the brown eyes I've grown to love so much. Suddenly, I know what to tell him. Or how to tell him rather. I lean closer to him and press my lips against his. Daniel is clearly shocked by my action, but once he realizes what is going on, he starts kissing me back. I don't know if it's because I'm drunk or if it's because of our chemistry, but kissing him is unlike anything I've ever felt before.

"That's even better than saying something," Daniel says after pulling away slightly, making me smile.

"I figured."

"So what now?"

"I don't know, you tell me," I say, feeling unsure.

"I don't know if doing what I want to do right now is the best idea."

"We're both drunk, are drunk ideas ever a good idea?" I giggle, making Daniel smile.

"Maybe we should just go home and talk about it later?"

"Yeah, that's a good idea."

"Let's go then," Daniel says as he gets up. I get up as well and we make our way out of the bar. A lot of memories were made in this bar, but this has to be the most special one so far.

"Violet!" I hear Joelle call out, making me grown and hide underneath the covers.

"Go away," I say, though I'm almost certain she can't even hear me.

"Violet, you need to get out of bed! I called in sick for you, but they said you did have to do something!"

"I don't wanna!"

"That's too bad," Joelle says as she walks into my room.

"My head hurts."

"Well that makes sense. Who goes out drinking on a weekday anyway?"

"Daniel suggested it," I say, as if that's supposed to justify everything.

"Well he had a bad idea."

"Tell me about it," I sigh as I slightly sit up.

"So, how was your night out?" Joelle asks curiously as she sits down on my bed.

"We kissed," I blurt out, making her eyes widen.

"Say what now?"

"Daniel confessed he likes me and I kissed him."

"Finally!" Joelle exclaims, which doesn't help my headache.

"Yeah, yeah, I know."

"So you're together now?"

"Not exactly."

"What, what do you mean?"

"Well, we realized if we made any decisions last night, they probably wouldn't be good as we were both drunk. So we decided to talk about everything later."
