you visibly flinched as ron insulted your father, you knew that your dad had done bad things but everything he did was to protect his family so you would always defend him. you were glad that your brother carl wasn't there to hear ron's words because you knew that they would have fought whereas you wouldn't. you didn't think that ron was a bad person, he was just struggling with the murder of his dad and the lack of care from his mother about the event, his little brother had also gone a bit crazy so you didn't really blame him for having some issues. however, that didn't mean he didn't piss you off.
"you don't know shit about my dad!"
you yelled angrily. you had watched your father go through so much since waking up from the coma and returning to the world and you hated when people held his bad actions against him.
"you shouldn't keep defending him because you're a much better person than him and carl. you're great, you shouldn't even have the last name grimes. it stains you."
