I realized how much my side hurt and groaned in pain.
"Oh my gosh! Did I just you really bad?" My savior asked.

I looked up at her, studying her features. There was a look of regret on her face.

"Pourquoi est-ce que tu t'er préoccupes?" (Why do you care?) I asked.

"Oh. You speak another language..."

I nodded, showing I did.

"So you speak English or German? I can speak both.."

"Can speak little English.."

"Ok. I'm assuming you can understand English, so you can just speak it or nod, ok?" She asked

I nodded.

"Great!"

"I have a question for you. Why are you put here this late? Usually mortals don't stay out past sunset." She questioned.

I sighed, figuring I'd rather tell the truth than some stupid lie.

"Was hurt, teased. Told to kill self. Left town. Came here. Wanted die..." after that it was impossible to understand because I began blubbering in French.

"You poor thing.." she said.

I looked up to see if she was mocking me. She wasn't. She looked so purely sympathetic.

"Tell ya what. I'll give you shelter for the night, and tommorrow I'll find a translater to tell your story to me."

"D'accord..." (Ok) I agreed.

"Here. I don't think you should walk, given your leg. You can rise on me!" She said.

"Que voulez-vous dire?" (What do you mean?) I asked.

She had turned into her wolf form, her fur shining a shade of blue in the night.

"Just hop on my back!" She said.

"D'accord.." (Ok..) I responded.

"Oh yeah! My names Celeste. What's yours?"

"Encre..."

"That's a nice name..." she said.

I nodded.

"Well then, lets get going!" She said.

Suddenly, she took off at a trot. I let out a yelp of surprise, as she went at a fast pace. She giggled a bit, but not in a cruel way. Why was she being so nice to me? What had I done to her? I sighed, and realized that she had slowed down.

"Pourquoi avez-vous ralenti?" (Why did you slow down?)I asked.

"We're getting close to the town now!" She said, sounding excited.

"Oh, and by the way, the town we're going to is kind of a hiding spot for criminals. But don't worry! I have a pretty good reputation, ya know, for letting them stay."

"Letting them stay?" I asked in English.

"Ya. Sometimes, criminals are accused of something and thrown out of every town for miles. By the time they get here, they're willing to not hurt people to stay. We also have a couple people and monsters with birth or battle defects. You'd be surprised how many people get rid of people that are disabled!"

She abruptly stopped, almost sending me flying.

"Sorry!"

"Ça va.." (Its fine..)

"Anyways, we're here!" She announced, sitting down and causing me to fall off. The little town was quaint, and there were quite a few lights on.

"Where I stay?" I asked, feeling ashamed of what little English I knew.

"You can stay with me. It'll propably be best anyways."

I nodded.

"Which one?"

She walked over to a nice house, a bit bigger than any other ones.

"This one. Here, I'll show you to your room."

We walked inside and she showed me to a room that was decent sized.

"If you want to the forest to die, I'm assuming that you don't have any clothes."

I shook my head.

"Right. You'll have to sleep in those clothes tonight. We'll get you some new clothes tommorrow."

I nodded.

"Alright. I'm going to bed. I suggest that you should to."

"D'accord." (Ok)

"Does that mean Ok?"

I nodded.

"Great! See ya tommorrow!" She said, before walking out.

I climbed into the bed. It was actually pretty comfy. Pretty soon, I fell into a dreamless sleep.
