Part 36

KIARA

Tre, Chloe and I all were waiting in the hospital. I kept looking at the clock and back at my intermingling fingers as I anxiously waited for the nurse to call my name.

"You good princess?" Tre asked me wrapping one of his arms around my neck and pulling me closer to him.

The smell of his cologne was able to make me less frigidity and nervous.

"Yeah, I just hope we get some good news."

"If you're pregnant, then we will take it from there. But if you're not, we can always try again." He said looking at me.

"Yeah I know, I just hope I am." I said looking down and he picked my head up by my chin with his finger.

"Everything is gonna be good." He said pecking me on the lips.

"Mommy you okay?" Chloe said getting up from her seat and standing in front of me.

"Yeah baby, I'm fine. You might have a little brother or sister." I smiled picking her up and seating her on my lap.

"My very own brother or sister?" She said with her eyes wide open.

Even though Chloe knew I was her sister, she saw me more as a mother than a sister.

"Yes baby! Which one do you want?"

"I want a sister, so I can dress her and have fun."

I laughed. "Hopefully."

"Family of Harden?"

"Yes that's us." Tre said getting up from my seat. I got up and placed her on her feet and we all walked in the room.

"Okay, so you're here to get a pregnancy test?" The nurse asked.

"Yeah. I took 2 pregnancy tests, but I just want to be 100% sure."

"Okay. The doctor will be right back to test you."

I nodded my head as I watched her leave the room.

I took a deep breath and a few minutes later, a female doctor walked in the room.

"Hello. My name is Mrs.Johnson. I will be testing you for pregnancy. Would you rather do this procedure through urine or blood?"

"I rather do urine." I was afraid of needles so I rather just pee in the cup

"Alright that's fine." She walked to the other side of the room and grabbed a small cup and handed it to me.

I got up and walked over to the bathroom inside the room and peed in the cup.

I handed the cup to her and she left the room.

10 MINUTES LATER

The doctor walked in the room with a piece of paper in her hand.

"Okay! We have the results now. So you are..." She quickly read through the paper. "pregnant!" She said with a smile.

I gasped and covered my mouth as tears melted down my face..

Both Tre and Chloe quickly got up from their seat and they comforted me which made me cry more.

I was so happy that I was finally pregnant. I was with the mans of my dreams and my beautiful sister and I was finally having my own biological child.

"Sorry to interject in this hug, but here is vitamins and pregnancy books for new mothers." She said handing me them with a smile.

"Thank you so much." I said grabbing the pills and books from her and we both left.

We finally got home, and I was in such a happy mood. I would frequently lift up my shirt and look down at my belly. I still couldn't fathom that there was a child growing inside me.

"What you doing?" Tre said walking in the master room.

I smiled as look at him. "I can't believe that we are having a baby. Are you excited?"

"Of course, I hope it's a little boy."

"I really don't care if it's a boy or a girl. As long it's healthy that's all that matters."

"You're right. When do you wanna tell everybody?"

I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't know. Should we just wait till I get a little bigger?"

"You should just tell some people like Kenya, X and Sylvia now. Then let our other acquaintances know later."

"Yeah, you're right. But I can't wait till I finally get fatter."

"Why?"

"So I can make you massage my feet and do everything for me." I said cheesing at him.

He sighed, "So you trapped a nigga?"

I mean mugged him and punched him in the arm. "Don't play with me like that."

He laughed rubbing over his bruised arm, "Damn chill, you hit like a whole man."

"Ugh, I'm not about to play with you." I said getting up from my feet and walking over to the bathroom to go quickly take a shower.

When I finish washing up, I looked at the mirror and smiled. I noticed how I looked more like my mother. I guess you can call it the pregnancy glow. I smiled at myself in the mirror and quickly prayed to god and thanked him for all the blessings he put in my life, including Tre.
