Our Hereos had found a Pokemon Centre last night.Everyone was awake and ready to go,everyone except Ash.Currently,Bonnie was about to jump on Ash to wake him up."Wheee!"Bonnie yelled as she jumped on to Ash."Wha-?Stop jumping on me Greninja.You know I won't be able to catch up to you easily,so stop punishing me for it!"Ash said."I am not Greninja.I am Bonnie,Ash.I jumped on you to wake you up,we need to get going!"Bonnie said,then muttered under her breath,"You're usually the one to say that."Ash scratched the back of his head and said,"Oh,sorry.Here,take Greninja's pokeball,bring him out and give him something to eat.Pikachu must already be down,slurping down ketchup.I'm coming."Bonnie nodded and went outside the room.
The gang was ready to go.Brock looked lovingly at Nurse Joy and the rest of them said polite goodbyes and thank you's. The gang had walked not very far,when they suddenly heard someone yelling,"Ashy-boy!Wait up,you haven't forgotten me,have you?"Ash grit his teeth when he heard the person,and muttered under his breath,"How could ever forget that voice,"before turning around and saying,"Hi Gary!Stop calling me Ashy-boy.What are you doing here?"Before Gary could answer,Brock said,"Gary!Its been a long time since I have seen you!How is your work as a researcher going?"Gary smirked at Ash and said,"It's going great Brock.Greater than what Ashy-boy here is doing.And as an answer to your question,I am here researching on the spirit of the leaves.No one has seen it before,but it is said that this spirit Pokemon reside right here in the Kanto region,and are the reason of the existence of the legendary plant,Hygeia." Brock then says,"Isn't hygeia the plant which is used in full restores,heal potions,and all the recovery medicines for Pokemon?"Gary nods and says,"Recently,Hygeia has become almost impossible to find.Kanto region supplies Hygeia nectar to all the other regions.And believe me or not,there are actually some Pokemon centers without full restores and other healing potions."Ash,Serena,Bonnie and Brock gasp."S-so what could be the reason behind it?"Serena asked."No one knows.But many researchers believe it is because these Pokemon are being hunted down by well,Pokemon hunters.Oh Ash,I have some bad news for you.My grandfather says that since I will be traveling around the Kanto region again,in search of these hunters,I should take part in the special Kanto league."Gary said."Great!"Ash said,raising his fist in the air.Gary smiled and asked,"How many shards do you have?""One,and boy was it difficult to get."Ash answered."I have one as well.Say Ash,what about a battle.The last time we battled,you and your Greninja fainted.But I saw you in the Kalos league,and I know you have more in you."Ash and Brock were momentarily surprised,since Gary had something really nice to Ash.Ash was about to say yes,when Bonnie said,"shhh everyone.Listen."A faint roar of a powerful truck could be heard.But that wasn't what caught the gang's attention.There was a feeble,hardly audible,scream.Gary's face brightened up,and he motioned for the others to follow the voice. The gang soon saw a truck parked behind a humongous oak tree.There was a very burly man sitting under it,talking to someone on his phone.Beside the man was a cage,in which a Pokemon was trapped.Ash quickly took out his poke-Dex

Elthia,the spirit Pokemon.It is the reason of the existence of the legendary plant,Hygeia.It is very rare and very less have spotted it.It is said that when it is angered,it changes its form into something that is almost undefeatable.This sight is very rare,since these spirit-birds are extremely patient.
"I can't believe they made Milotic the most beautiful Pokemon."Serena whispered."We need to get that bird back!"Gary said."Alright!Lets get that Pokemon back.We should attack all at once,so the man is caught by surprise.It will be easier then."Ash said."LETS GOOOO"Ash yelled.All of them ran out of their hiding place.The man gasped.His hand went instinctively towards his pocket."Go Flareon and Meganium!"He yelled."Who are you kids?"The man asked."Forget who we are.We know who you are,Pokemon hunter!You give back Elthia right now!"Brock yelled."As if.Flareon flamethrower,Meganium,sleep powder!"The men yelled."Braixen counter with your own flamethrower."Serena yelled."Why do you guys yell so much?I guess all of Ashy-boy's friends are like that.Blastoise,before all of us sleep,use rapid spin!"Gary said.Blatoise withdrew in his shell and started going round and round and round...The water stopped the sleep powder.Mean while,Braixen had easily over powered Flareon's flamethrower."Pikachu,thunderbolt,let's go!"Ash yelled."PikaCHUUUUU"The thunderbolt hit the man and his Pokemon,who were paralyzed."Let's finish this.Everyone,attack!"Ash yelled.All of the trainers asked their respective Pokemon to attack,even Bonnie.Brock had gone to the cage in which the bird was trapped.He let her out,and Elthia rubbed her neck against Brock's leg.Brock smiled and looked up just in time to see The man and his Pokemon being blasted off."Are you okay,Elthia?"Ash asked."I am fine,thanks to you and your friends."The bird said,using telepathy.She had a very majestic and must-pay-attention-to-her sort of voice."I must go now.My friends need me and my protection.I am the leader of the flock that resides in this forest.Thank you."The bird said,flying away."Ash,Serena,Bonnie and Brock,I need you to promise me,that whenever you see any Elthia in danger,save it.This is what I will be doing on my journey."Gary said,his voice cracking.Ash and the others nodded."Should we have our battle now?"Ash asked.Gary shook his head and said,"I want to travel more IN this forest rather than the path which takes us to Cerulean city.And we will probably meet at Cerulean city,Ashy-boy.We will hold our battle there."Ash nodded."Until next time!"Ash yelled,and the others waved as Gary waved back and disappeared into the forest."Let's get going!Cerulean city,here we come!"Ash yelled,pumping his fist in the air."Why is he so excited?"Serena said,giggled,and then followed the group,who was running ahead.
