Short-circuit heartbeat,
electric and wired,
you're shocking and shaking
and shocking to life.
Short-circuit heartbeat,
what beautiful darkness,
forget that you're hopeless,
I'll bring you to life.
Short-circuit heartbeat,
Your memories static,
Since ours were elastic,
from then to today.
Short-circuit heartbeat,
I see your transgressions,
and hear all your questions,
but we are the same.
Short-circuit heartbeat,
I wish I could help you,
I wish I could save you,
Yet we are but one.
Short-circuit heartbeat,
I feel you within me.
I feel and I see that -
together we've won.
