Chapter 26: Becoming Involved

IMPORTANT NOTE: How Sprint for Time works in this fan fiction.

There are hunters that try to tag the players in the game. If you get tagged you are out until you are revived or until next episode. The players have to complete tasks and missions to prevent a negative consequence and/or gain an advantage. If a player survives for 90 minutes they earn all 270,000 points. For every second a player is alive, they are awarded 50 points. When a player is caught he or she cash in 1/10 of their total current earnings.

Tomorrow came quickly, and the TFboys had to wake up early to get ready. Wang Yuan was the first one awake as usual. He quickly spent no less than 1 minute waking Jun Kai and Qian Xi. After waking them he snuck quietly into your room.

"Y/n," he said shaking you. "Wake up; we have to go record the show now."

You roll over and continue sleeping. Wang Yuan sighed and moved to the other side of the bed and tried again.

"Y/n, you need to wake up," he repeated. In your sleep, you shifted again and stirred a bit. Wang Yuan quickly took this time to wake you up.

"Ok, you have to be dressed and ready in 30 minutes. You can eat on the car or at the studio and you can sleep later if you're still tired," explained Wang Yuan, "I have to get changed and ready."

You understand and nod your head. Wang Yuan quickly headed out to prepare as you started to get out of bed. You quickly join the TFboys and you all left promptly at 7 am with Pang Hu of course.

When you got there you were amazed at how many people were already working there. There were cameramen, directors, audio and sound workers, etc.

The TFboys told you to stay with Pang Hu while they recorded. You stayed in a cool lounge room with several TVs that broadcasted the images from the different cameras on stage. You were able to watch the TFboys from here!

While watching them you realize how each of their personality was amplified on stage. Wang Yuan was still cute and adorable with his funny edge. Jun Kai liked acting cool but still ended up laughing with or at Wang Yuan. Qian Xi was still a cold individual but occasionally you saw the cool and more playful Qian Xi on stage.

When they took a break for lunch, the TFboys came into the lounge and ate with you. After their quick break it was back to recording for them. You on the other hand watched the TVs and did some homework while you waited.

When they finished today's recording, they all left together to eat at a restaurant. At the dinner table you asked, "When will this episode be broadcasted to the public?"

"We aren't really sure; it usually depends on the schedule. I think the show we just finished usually broadcasts on Saturday night," replied Jun Kai.

They headed to the next hotel and for their next variety reality show, Sprint for Time (again if you didn't read my previous message I'm changing real shows to suit my purposes).

The next day, you watch with the director of Sprint for Time. He had to manage all of the smaller directors who had control in a certain area of the playing field.

You watched as everyone was being chased by the men in black suits. Slowly the amount of runners dwindled down to a mere seven with 30 minutes left in the game.

The TFboys somehow evaded all the men in black suits and had to go rescue a beautiful girl with the other four members.

Just then, the director turned to you and asked, "I have an idea. Because you know the TFboys, can you be the beautiful girl they have to rescue?"

"Um...What do I have to do?" you asked.

"Just follow my instruction. I'll talk to you with this earpiece," he said as he handed you one.

"Um...Ok..." you said.

"Don't worry you'll be great. I have a good feeling about you," he reassured. The costume and makeup team quickly applied makeup and gave you a dress to wear. Then you were locked inside a room while you wait for someone to show up.

TFboys Perspective:

"Wang Yuan, Qian Xi, let's go do the mission. We are really close to the room where they are keeping the girl," said Jun Kai.

"Careful Jun Kai, there are hunters circling the building," warned Qian Xi.

"Wang Yuan, where are you going?" asked Jun Kai. He motioned them to follow him. Jun Kai and Qian Xi carefully headed towards Wang Yuan.

They finally made it to the door, when they heard a familiar voice.

Y/n Perspective:

Director: "Ok, there's someone coming so you need to shout for help."

"Help me; I'm locked up in this room. Help me," you shouted. Just then the door unlocked and in stepped the TFboys.

They were surprised to see you but they didn't say anything as they knew they were being recorded.

Director: "Now they will take you to see Jian Li but they have to be close to you for you to move and you have to walk at an even pace."

"Fair lady, we need to take you to see Jian Li. He asked us to help you escape," said Wang Yuan. You agreed and started to follow them.

A few minutes later Qian Xi yelled, "Hunter!" and as fast as the wind all three boys scattered. After another few minutes, they came back and lead you to Jian Li. They then completed more missions until there were only minutes remaining.

"5, 4, 3, 2, 1," shouted everyone as the timer ticked down. This episode the TFboys made it all the way through and won.

When you all finished the recording session; the TFboys crowded around you and asked, "When did you end up in the show? You did really well for your first acting part."

You blushed and thanked them for their kind words. You then explained how the director wanted you to play the girl for some reason. "You should act more or go on some shows with us, I think it'll be fun," said Wang Yuan.

"We just have to check with the CEO first," said Jun Kai. He then called the CEO as Wang Yuan and Qian Xi packed up.

The director entered the room and whispered something to Qian Xi and Wang Yuan. They whispered something back and the director walked toward you.

Jun Kai finished his call and came to greet the director.

"So y/n would you like to join the game either as a main actor or a special running guest?" asked the Director. You agreed to it, making the TFboys smile at you and congratulate you.

Later when you were lying in bed, you thought of all the fun things you did today as you fell fast asleep.
