A/N: There is some Italian language in the beginning of this chapter, now since I didn't want you guys to scroll to the bottom of the page to know what the hell Dakota is talking about, I will provide the translations here. (:

"Please, dammi la forza dei miei antenati. " - "Please, give me the strength of my ancestors."

"That's quello che hai insegnato a me, mamma. " - "That's what you taught me, mom."

"a pregare per qualcosa di buono, quando tutto è sconvolgente intorno a noi... " - "To pray for something good, when everything is shattering around us.."

I don't know when the last time I actually slept. Perhaps it was that night with Bellamy that I actually got sleep, but that was what? Three or four days ago? Exhaustion was pulling at the back of my conscious long before Clarke met with Commander Lexa.

"Please, dammi la forza dei miei antenati. " I spoke softly while I tried my hardest to keep my tears from escaping my eyes. I sat in the corner of my room in the Ark with my back facing the door and my knees in my chest like a weeping child.

"That's quello che hai insegnato a me, mamma. " I shook my head as my heart started to break in my chest, hearing my mothers tongue roll off my tongue brought memories that I didn't want to uncover.

I kept my hardest to keep her buried in the back of my mind, trying to forget the image that she had burned in my dreams. When she left, it was like a part of my heart was ripped from my chest, and instead she left a cold, empty space. That wasn't her intention and I knew I couldn't stop her from leaving.

"a pregare per qualcosa di buono, quando tutto è sconvolgente intorno a noi... " The words lingered in my mouth as I laid my head down on my knee as a tear escaped my eye and rolled down my cheek. My lip trembled as my heart ached and I sucked in my bottom lip as my being shook as I cried.

"Dakota?" A small whisper shut me, making me freeze on the spot. Making me wipe away any evidence to show that I was crying.

I felt Bellamy's presence step into the room when I didn't answer him right away. I might've gotten up too quickly in fright when my head stirred as the blood rushed down my body. I met with Bellamy's brown eyes, staring down at me with concern when a unwanted tear rolled down my cheek.

"You wanted something?" I managed to croak out and push my way out of Bellamy's arms when his thumb came up to wipe the tear away.

"Why do you do that?" Bellamy asked as my back was facing him. I heard the stern tone in his voice.

"Do what?"

"Push me away when I get close?" He replied and I felt him up against my back and his hand closed off on my wrist, forcing me to turn around to face him.

My eyes tried not to meet his, and they darted around the room. "I just.. Everyone that I let in.. they left." When I finally met Bellamy's eyes, his facial features were soft as he studied my face.

"I'm not going to leave you, Dakota." Bellamy reassured me and part of me wanted to believe his words, but that's what everyone says.

I shook my head. "Don't promise something that might change later."

Bellamy sighed and grabbed my face forcefully. "Hey. Let's not worry about the later. Let's worry about the present, cause that's what matters to me." His touch soften as my eyes met his. "I love you." Bellamy finished his sentence and pressed his lips to mine but a second later his lips left me cold as his forehead rested up against mine.
