At LexCorp, the story was no different and it wasn't long before the tower was empty save for a few overdue employees. And Lex Luthor. He was sitting on the floor, drumming his fingers on his knee and looking at the whole of Metropolis from the high perched office. He'd been like that for a while, lost in thought and unable to focus on work of any sort. He almost didn't notice the man that was now in the room with him.
"Luthor" The stranger said softly.
Lex flinched at the sound but recovered quickly and turned around to stare silently at the man.
He seemed to be almost seven feet tall and his white hair and beard suggested that he was in his late 40s. He stared down at Lex as he handed him a tablet."Look familiar?" The man asked
Lex took the device hesitantly. A low quality, black and white security footage appeared on the screen. An old building —which he recognized as the 1938 Sullivan— stood in the background, outlined by a street full of strangers walking around. There was nothing unusual about it, not the building nor the people. But he kept watching nonetheless.
And then he saw it.

Lex Luthor had to rewind the tape a few times. Among the indistinct people he found what he'd been looking for for months.
He found you."When?" He muttered, still looking at the screen.
"Twenty minutes ago" the other man replied, bored. After creating the monster that took the life of Superman. It had been over a year since he'd last seen you through the bars of his cell.
The letters you wrote to him would come into Arkham daily, until one day they didn't. From night till morning you'd vanished. And there was nothing he could do about it.
After your disappearance, it wasn't long before Lex Luthor —much to Batman's displeasure— was declared "sane" and allowed to reincorporate to society. Then, and only then had he figured exactly why you'd run away.
"Bring her to me"
