You'd been so caught up by your emotions that you hadn't even paid attention as to where the strange man had taken you. Right there in front of you stood a building you knew all too well: LexCorp Tower.
"No..." you said barely loud enough to be heard by the bearded man, but he ignored you and grabbed your shoulder again, directing you to the large glass doors. "No, please. I can't be here, you need to take me back. I beg you"
You spoke softly, doing your best not to draw attention but it was futile as people all around you looked at you in disbelief. Some of them even tried to get closer to you, but the bearded man's formidable appearance was enough to dissuade them from doing so. It didn't matter anyway, they couldn't help you.
The two of you kept walking towards one of the elevators, and disappeared inside. The lobby erupting in whispering and chattering.

Despite being trapped in an elevator, the bearded man still thought it necessary to hold your arm tightly.
"That's unnecessary" you stated the obvious.
"For mercy's sake, kid. Shut the hell up" the man ordered, he clearly had had enough of you.
After a moment the metal doors opened. You thought of escaping but quickly forgot about it. There was no way you could make it to the exit without getting caught. Or even shot, for that matter.
The man pulled at your arm and you had no choice but to follow him into the all too familiar office of Lex Luthor.
"Luthor," the man called "we're back"
The room was silent for a moment but then Lex appeared from behind his desk, scanning his office as if he wasn't sure he'd actually heard what he just had. His eyes finally landed on you and a second later he stood right in front of you.
"Lex..." you said shakily, after over a year of separation, you'd thought you'd never see him again and yet here he was.
"Y/N" he said. You yourself were at the brink of tears once more, but Lex didn't seem to notice, or to care even. His serious expression made you shudder in fear for an instant, and suddenly...
Your face was pressed against his chest, Lex's arms wrapping around your body tightly. You gasped, shocked. Just a millisecond before, you'd feared he would hurt you.
It was only until then that you realized just how much you'd missed him. Unable to control yourself any longer, you broke off crying and wrapped your own arms around him.
He caressed your back and kissed your forehead before letting you go.
"Y/N," Lex cupped your face gently, making you look directly at him "You're safe now, but I need you to calm down. This isn't over."
You took short , quick breaths, trying as best as you could to do as he asked. You gazed into Lex's eyes and in them you saw something you never had before: fear.
"Where is she, Y/N?" He asked.
"Gotham," you said, "we have to go. Now."
