Spencer Reid One Shots

I'm currently beginning some serious exams so I didn't want to spend too long on a dramatic one shot, so I have this cute little fluff one. I hope you enjoy.  

Prompt- Spencer and the Reader are a couple within the BAU, are at Rossi's house for a meal and there's a surprise!

Rossi's dinner party, once again. There you were. The team had one almost every month, or to celebrate a hard case the team had solved successfully.

You loved seeing all of the team outside of work, brighter smiles and better conversations. It was always so pleasant, and you couldn't be happier to be sat with them right now.

The whole team were sat around the huge table set in Rossi's unreasonably large back yard, finishing up the meal everyone had. The table was covered by a thin, silky white cloth and expensive cutlery, as well as glasses of wine and other beverages.

Around the garden, Rossi had fairy lights draped around the fences to give a warm glow, followed by white lights implanted on the pathway, which lead to the gazebo and glass table where the team would usually rest to play a game of cards.

Rossi's luxury never ceased to amaze you, you sometimes had forgotten how successful he really is.

You were wearing fairly casual clothes, consisting of a short, black pencil skirt and a deep emerald coloured blouse tucked in. Your hair cascaded smoothly over your shoulders in neat waves, you also wore small heels to boost your height.

"Did I tell you how beautiful you looked tonight?" You heard a soft murmur in your ear, making you shiver a little.

You looked up to your boyfriend of two years, Spencer Reid, playfully raising an eyebrow at him.

"Only seven times," You muttered back, making him grin and nod.

That grin. His eyes crinkled a little at the sides due to his smile being so wide, exposing his straight white teeth. The little strands of his soft, brown hair draped over his forehead only makes him look cuter. (If possible.)

You smiled softly, feeling your heart flutter at the sight of him as your whole body becomes warm. You really did think the world of Spencer, you were always at your happiest with him. At your most content.

Spencer was wearing black slacks, as per, with a white button down shirt. He was also wearing a funny patterned tie, followed by a grey cardigan, his sleeves rolled to his elbows.

You leant up closer to him, just wanting to feel his soft lips and complement him, only for the peaceful moment to be interrupted by Derek.

"Come on, kids, it's cards time." He piped up, playfully moving his eyebrows and making everyone laugh and shake their heads.

This caused everybody to push their chairs back and stand from the table, walking down the stone pathway to the gazebo.

There was small couches covered in fluffy pillows, surrounding the glass table, and of course, you and Spencer were quick to nuzzle together at the edge of the couch, as the others perched themselves around the table.

By your other side was JJ, and facing the both of you was Hotch and Rossi. To the left was Penelope and Emily, to the right, Derek.

"You're going to become really competitive now, aren't you?" You huffed at Spencer, looking up at him as you snuggle under his arm.

"Unfortunately," he laughed, resulting in a soft groan parting your lips. Of course he was.

As the cards were handed out, you withdrew from Spencer's warm embrace, and picked them up. Leaning back, you hid your cards from the sight of everybody else and began to play.
