Tic toc. Tic toc.
We start in seven minutes,
I feel the fear begin to rise.
I desperately try to remember my notes.

My eyes flick up again
Tic toc tic toc
Six minutes left.

So I decided to count my breaths,
In and out.
In and out.

Then I begin to think about what could go wrong.
In and out. In and out.
I've forgotten everything
Tic toc tic toc.

I have five minutes and so I listen to the mutters around me.
They are all talking about what's on the test and none of it makes any sense.
In out in out in out in out
In.

I have four minutes left when my vision goes blurry.
Three when I start to get dizzy.
Barely two minutes before my head hits the floor.

Tic. Toc. Tic. Toc.
I'm breathing. In and out. Slower and slower.
The clock chimes loudly.
The test has begun.
