To fall asleep in your arms,
To wake up by your side.
To hear you say 'I love you',
And I'll know everything alright.
To sit across from you as you smile,
At some stupid joke I told.
I know that I could do this,
Until we both are old.
Running away with you to nowhere,
Hearing you say my name,
Following you everywhere,
You make me feel safe, sane.
Everything about you,
Every hair on your head.
With everything I've been through,
Being here with you, makes me glad I'm not dead.
