I remember in Spain when we went shopping with Nana,
As we left you'd call from your chair;
"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine." Then you'd go back to watching Judge Judy.

When you got sick you moved to Wales.
We came to visit you of course,
And as we left to go home or go out you'd call from your chair;
"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine." Then go back to watching Judge Judy.

In your last months you moved closer to us,
And we'd see you as often as we could,
And every time we left you'd hold my hand and say;
"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine"

We all knew you wouldn't be fine.
All I did was worry.

I remember the last time you saw me,
You took my hand,
Told me you loved me,
And told me not to worry.

Rest in Peace, Bob McColl, my granddad Bob.
I won't worry about you, I know you'll be fine.
