10 - ENCUÉNTREME

"Let me introduce to you Ms Daniela Aurora Baltazar, a daughter of a mechanic and breakfast vendor."

At narinig kong nagtawanan ang nasa paligid ko.

"What? A mechanic?" Narinig kong sabi ng isang Chosen. 

"Did I heard it right? Hahahaha." Isa pang sabi ng Chosen kaso hindi ko ma-identify kung  sino dahil sa nakayuko ako. 

"I think there's someone na di tatagal dito. I can feel the vibes na. Hahahaha." Sabi ng isang pang Chosen at kilala ko kung kanino nanggaling ang statement na yun. Hayyy. 

"Shhh... Wag naman sana kayong tumawa. Ano bang nakakatawa sa pagiging mekaniko? Kayo ba marunong mag-ayos ng kotseng binigay lang sa inyo ng magulang nyo?!" Sabi ni Kaye. Oo, kay Kaye Villaluna ang boses na yun.  Yung Chosen na galing sa Boracay. Na-identify ko yung boses niya sa lahat dahil ito ang pinakamaliit at matinis. Hindi pa rin ako tumitingin sa kanila. 

"Quiet ladies. Nagdidiscuss si Ms Gretchen, respect please." Sabi ng isang Chosen. 

"Ms. Daniel Aurora Baltazar, a 19 year old lady is now on her fourth year in nursing course at a prestige school here in the Philippines. Her schooling is being supported by his parents who works very hard for her despite of their financial in-capabilities."

Dahan-dahan kong iniangat ang ulo ko para makita si Ms Gretchen. Napakalaki ng ngiti niya sa akin. Ipinagpatuloy niya ang kanyang pagsasalita habang paunti-unting ipinapakita sa presentation ang mga stolen photos ni Papa at Mama habang nagtatrabaho. May mga stolen shots din akong naglalakad papuntang school, nagbebenta ng almusal kasama si Mama at naglalaba sa tapat ng bahay."

"Yes, she came from a very poor family. She is a part-timer in a cafe shop and helps her mom in selling breakfast just to provide their needs. She's very smart and has her scholarship with her ever since she studied. This makes her family less burdened. She maintained her high grades and has lots of honors and awards."

Nakikita ko sa harap ko yung mga stolen shots ko na nag-aaral sa classroom, nagbabasa library, nagtatrabaho sa cafe shop, awarding ceremonies na kung saan sinusuotan ako ni Mama ng medals, nagsasampay ng labahan at iba pang stolen shots ng mga ginawa ko nitong linggo.

Grabe, lahat ng ito nakunan nila. 

"She's a very smart and diligent woman. We're so impressed upon checking her profile. Aside from it, Ms Daniela Aurora is an active member of church where she devotes her whole Sunday to worship God and after the service, she is able to teach children how to read, write, draw and  play around with them. She has time for God and that's an impressive quality unlike ladies who spends their Sundays to nonsense extra curricular activities."

Habang sinasabi ni Miss Gretchen yun ay nagra-run ang pictures ko sa Church kasama ang mga kaibigan at pamilya ko at pakikipaglaro at pagtuturo ko sa mga bata.

"There's more, she's an active officer of an organization that feed homeless children every now and then. They also clean the community and barangays. They are able to supply trash cans, wall clocks, cleaning materials and many more around the community to maintain it at its finest."

How could this happen? Naappreciate pala nila ang mga ganito. Nakakatuwa namang isipin. 

"She also regularly donates blood to Red Cross and an active medical assistant to it. Graduate of first honorable mention in high school and now running for Cum Laude in her current studies. She's aiming to become a doctor someday which we believe will happen due to her dedication and talents."

Napabuga ako sa iniinom kong iced tea. P-pati ba namang pangarap kong maging doktor na laman nila?! Lupet naman ng imbestigador na to. 

Nagpatuloy lang sa pagsasalita tungkol sa akin si Ms Gretchen..
