Chapter 5: The Feeling

Four takes us to the Cafeteria to eat dinner. As we enter the dauntless woop and yell, leaving me with a feeling I have only had in my life a few times, the feeling that I belong.

Tobias and I climbed down the tree to sneak out once again. He was 15, I was 13.

Slowly and carefully he landed on the ground without making a sound. He the extended his arms out for me. I knew exactly what this meant, he wanted me to jump. I knew he would catch me.

So slowly and carefully I lined myself up with his arms, and let go of the tree. I was falling and I loved the feeling. He caught me.

"You didn't let me fall," I joked as if I had no faith in him.

"I'm never going to let you fall Bea, you know that."

"Of course I do."

We kissed. It wasn't our first but certainly not our last. And in his arms, him kissing me, I felt like I belonged.

I have not felt like this in a while, around two years to be exact. But I can't help but welcome,
