(Skyrim) Argis- The Lone Hearts

Fort Dunstad... the once proud camp taken over by bandits who now raids, steals, attacks and kills anybody who passes from there. The jarls want them dead at any cost, and the reward is pretty handsome for wiping them out too.
There was a warrior, the brave and noble was (y/n). The moment she heard about this awfully great bandit camp, she immediately decided and stated she'd clear them out.
"It can be dangerous..." Jod said handing you the bounty
"Yes it will be, I'll not step out of this..." you reply, not a hint of fear or doubt in your voice
"Very well, Talos be with you" Jod replied as you nodded, walking out of the longhouse.
"Are you sure you want to do this my love?" The red-haired man looked at you with worry, your dear love you never hoped to find in the frozen heart of Skyrim
"I can Argis... those bandits must be put back to Oblivion! The good people of Skyrim had enough of this war! Now these bandits!" (Y/n) replied with fire of anger burning in her (e/c) as if her dragon spirit's pride is hurt and grieving at the suffering of many
"You are a true hero my (y/n)" a warm smile appeared on Argis' lips....

(Flashback)
It has been weeks since you are looking for the stones of Barenziah, and with you accompanied the man named Argis the Bulwark, who you met in your newly bought home Vindrell Hall.
"My thane, it's been weeks since we are looking for these mythical stones but we found just three, and we already faced bandits, vampires, occasional dragon attacks and what not... are you sure you're going to find them?" Argis sighed shortly
"I cannot be that sure... but if it gets too impossible to surpass then I must halt but until then... Hey look I think another is in that fort!" (Y/n) quickly runs after, clumsily holding her map as Argis follows her nodding silently....

(Present)
"Argis you charge head on, I'd go for ranged... be safe my love" (y/n) said quickly before leaving him as she softly pecked on Argis' lips, her long (h/c) hair flowing behind her as she quickened her pace. Argis smiled to himself as he stood up, his sword and shield drawn as he charged head in to attack the bandits.

(Flashback)
"So what is the surprise you are talking about?" You slightly giggled as Argis held his hands on your eyes, blocking your vision.
"Just wait for it...!" He laughed slightly before leading you carefully to what seemed like a wooden bridge to you and then lifted his hands from your eyes.
Before you was the breathtaking scenery of waterfalls, the tree of Eldergleam and its sanctuary was the place you stood.
"It's...beautiful!" You felt a wide smile appearing on your lips as you beheld the beauty of the cave.
Suddenly you felt arms wrapping you from behind you and a small kiss on your cheek
"I...love you, (y/n)" Argis said as your cheeks flushed in red
"I...I... love you too Argis..." you shyly replied as he softly kissed you, under the light and beauty of Eldergleam Sanctuary.

(Present)
"I'll crush you like a bug!" Argis grimaced as he saw a knife slash his arm but he turned around and chopped off that bandit's head as crimson liquid painted the stone floor red.
Two bandits fell from arrows shot by (y/n) from a distance, she looked at him and smiled before they both proceed on deeper into the fort.

(Flashback)
Argis and (y/n) sat on a hill, on the outskirts of Markarth. Eyes fixated on the evening sky, that was now adorned with beautiful aurora borealis.
"Did you ever think about how these magical lights are formed?" Argis asked as he admired the celestial emerald lights dancing across the horizon
"They are the magical energies of Aetherius..." she replied sighing
"I see... well.." Argis turned to you, as you looked at him. He reached out for a mountain flower before adorning it in your hair "so pretty" he smiled as you smiled back at him
"I was wondering if..." he looked away, as you saw a hint of blush in his cheeks
"Hah look at the blushing on this housecarl!" You teased
"I'm not blushing!" Argis replied, his mouth slightly open in disbelief
"Oh stop, you look cute!" You replied nudging at his elbow
"I was wondering if we could..." he continued on
"Get married?" This sudden reply from (y/n) made him look quickly at her, only to find an amulet of Mara sitting on her palm as she smiled warmly at Argis....

(Present)
"It's an ambush! (Y/n) where are you?!" His desperate eyes search for his wife as he kills and dismembered the bandits surrounding him.
"Argis!!" He quickly followed the scream to find his dear (y/n) standing with her neck almost about to cross the battle axe of a bandit warlord
Argis swiftly threw a war axe at him but he dodged, he cursed under his breath. Then he quickly charged at him, seemingly plunging his sword in his heart.
Argis heard (y/n) scream in great agony as he looked to find the falling axe had actually plunged into her arm, it bled profusely.
"(Y/n)!" Argis knelt down to her, carrying her small body and placing her at his chest.
"Argis... I think I will..." she said weakly
"Don't even say such things!!!" Argis' voice was shaking "stay with me (y/n)!"
(Y/n) smiled weakly at him, as he tried on casting spells but the damn thing just wasn't working, was it her last breath in his arms? He quickly shakes away the depressing thought and tries to cast spells on her arm.
It'd heal her for a short while but then after the effects her gone, her arm would hurt and bleed again. Every cry of her pain made his heartache and as if his spirit was being torn apart from his body, as his eyes would tear up at her once flushed face now pale. "Was it really how they would separate their ways? Were the vows and promises they took in that temple would end like this? His heart would wrench that the woman who shyly accepted his love towards her was now so close to her death, the way she took out the amulet on that hill as if she read his mind" Argis' tears began to fall on her face "he'd never wake up to find her innocent face sleeping beside him... or would she ever call his name so adorably"

(Flashback)
He stood at the temple of Mara, as the priest chanted the pre-wedding prayers and with a slight creak, the door opened at a beautiful woman with flowers decorating her hair, her snow white dress dragging behind her as she walked towards her would-be husband, blushing and smiling as she held a small bunch of flowers in her hands... "what a beauty" Argis couldn't take his eyes off of her.

Later that night (y/n) stood at her home with her newly wed husband near the window, the moonlight gracing the couple.
"I never believed I'd have someone like you, it's like a dream come true" (y/n) embraces him, burying her head in his chest
"Neither did I, I thought I'd forever be alone as I wasn't great in making friends..." Argis gently hugged you as he rests his cheek against yours, his breath tickling your neck
"I don't want you to get hurt..." he backed away a little from her to give her a rather unique amulet
"What is this Argis?" (Y/n) looks up at him as he softly ties the amulet at her neck
"It will protect you..." Argis replied as he gently came in contact of your soft lips...

(Present)
Argis quickly searched your neck for the amulet he gave you, and held it in his fist. He said a prayer, as your body illuminated and the injured arm seemed to grow back into it's normal state as before, but the amulet broke and disappeared.
She wakes up, breathing heavily her eyes glancing up at Argis
"Argis! Are you okay?!" She gasped as she quickly sat up
Argis embraced her tightly as a single tear ran down his cheek "oh dear (y/n) I'm so glad to have you back!" he still couldn't believe you were alive and breathing in his embrace.
You slowly closed your eyes, as you embraced him back, smiling to yourself
"I'll always be here...my Argis"....
