There was a brief flutter of eyelashes. Maybe a tap of fingertips against a shitty hospital mattress, and a mumble of some words in English, far too quiet to be fully understood. In fact, all of it was so small, so unnoticeable, that Namjoon wasn't sure that he had really seen it, or if it was just a result of his overactive mind combined with his exhaustion.

His disbelief, however, did not completely overwrite his hope that he hadn't just been seeing things. He moved closer to the screen, holding his breath and hoping for more movement from Jade's unconscious body.

The first thing that she was conscious of was the various beeping going on around her. She attempted to turn it off, but found it difficult to move.

It was like a nightmare; the colors she could see as she opened her eyes and tried to focus upon anything in the room, everything spinning and forcing her to close her eyes again.

She tried to call out for help, but was instead embarrassed by the croaking noise that came from deep in her throat.

Namjoon had watched all of this, wishing with all his might that he was there and that he could have been the first person to see her when she woke up. He continued to hold his breath and remain silent, frightened that he was dreaming, that none of this was real, and that he would wake up the next morning with tears in his eyes and pain in his chest.

He watched her as she turned her head from side to side and attempted to sit up, watched as she caught sight of the laptop that was placed next to her, watched as she looked at him, truly looked, her eyebrows furrowing and mouth pursing.

He watched as she opened her mouth to speak, voice continuing to catch in her throat.

"I'm sorry," she said, confusion coloring her voice. "But where am I? And, I guess more importantly, why is Rap Monster of BTS watching me over skype?"

The boys, for what seemed like the millionth time, had been packed onto a flight, then into a small van to return to Korea.

None of the boys (other than Namjoon) really knew what was going on, other than the fact that Jade was awake and that Namjoon needed to get there as soon as possible. Luck had been on their side yet again, as there had been an unexpected break in their schedule amidst all of the events for the tour.

Jimin and Hoseok were asleep, heads pressed together, unintentionally snuggling together as they slept. Yoongi and Jin were stuffed into the very back of the van, where Yoongi had fallen asleep almost immediately, while Jin remained awake, watching Namjoon as he messaged various people on his phone.

Jungkook was trying to get Namjoon to sleep, attempting bribery along with logic to get the man to put the phone down and just relax.

None of the boys truly knew what was awaiting them at the hospital, other than a very pissed off Dinah and worried (y/n).

Taehyung was desperately attempting to sleep, but his excitement at being able to see (y/n) was far too great. This time, it was him that was bouncing in his seat as they approached the hospital, ready for their pack, their family, to be complete again. ________________________________________________________________________________

As soon as they arrived at the hospital, they were rushed up to the wing in which Jade was staying.

You stood in the doorway, half-listening as Jade questioned Dinah, holding Min-Jae and drowsily blinking your eyes. It was almost six in the morning, and you had returned to the hospital as soon as Namjoon had called to tell you that Jade had awoken.

Somewhere in the back of your mind, you were happy that the boys were returning; you would get to see Tae again. At the moment, however, you were too tired to truly think about how you would greet him. You focused instead upon keeping ahold of Min-Jae, who was squirming around as he began to wake up. You envied his ability to nap wherever he was, wishing that you had been able to remain at Jade's apartment, tucked away in the guest bedroom.

The boys approached the door, and you allowed Namjoon to enter, barring the others from the room, then almost falling over as you took tired steps, leading them to a small lounge at the end of the hallway. They sat down almost immediately, and Taehyung pulled you down next to him, offering his shoulder for you to sleep on.

You passed Min-Jae over to Jimin, who looked at you as though you had passed him a bomb, and you snuggled into Tae's shoulder and let go into the blissful waves of sleep.

"Look," Jade began, uncertainty and fear clouding her face, "If it really is May 16th, 2017, I don't remember anything."

"What's the date?" Dinah asked, glancing over at Namjoon, worry apparent in her eyes.

"April 25th, 2014."

"Holy shit," Namjoon whispered.

"What's the last thing you remember?"

"I walked into work, and Andrew was being a dick as usual, but I changed and walked out to waitress. I think I maybe took out the trash, and there was another person walking down the alleyway, and, and, that's all I've got. I don't remember anything else." ________________________________________________________________________________

Jimin was seated on the floor, Hoseok hovering over him as they both played with Min-Jae, trying to keep him quiet enough that the others would be able to sleep.

He chuckled lightly as Min-Jae attempted again to roll over, reaching out with his arms in a stretch that his father would be envious of. Hoseok smiled at Min-Jae as Jimin leaned back to rest against his legs, sighing contentedly.

Both boys were worried about what was going on in the hospital room, but playing with Min-Jae was helping to distract them from the obvious worry that had clouded (y/n)'s features when they had tried to enter the room that Jade was still in. Despite doctors passing by every few minutes, Jin had been unable to get any information out of them pertaining to Jade's condition.

Namjoon came around the corner then, eyes brighter and more focused than they had been in ages, but still looking like a lost puppy, tear tracks staining his cheeks.

Jade and Dinah rounded the corner next, Jade leaning heavily on Dinah as they attempted to walk to the lounge. There was a strange youth and innocence to Jade's face as she relied on Dinah to help her sit down in one of the chairs.

"Eomma!" Hoseok cried, moving forward to hug her.

She flinched away, shuddering into the cushions of the chair and squeezing her eyes shut. Tears were running down her face as well, and the confusion, the fear, which she felt was palpable in the air.

"Jade?" Jungkook questioned softly, eyes growing wide as he took in the girl's expression, "Are you okay?"

Namjoon let out a shaky breath then, "She doesn't remember anything. There's a complete blank space where the last two years should be."
