"I'm so happy for you!" He smiled.

"Thanks." I said. I rested my head on the windowsill.

"You alright?" He asked.

"Yeah...I'm tired. More than you." He laughed.

***

"Hello?"
"Hey. Coach is pretty pissed that you left a day early."
"Sutter...well...whatever. You're still coming tomorrow right?"
"No. I'm sick."
"Oh feel better man."
"Thanks bro. hey can I talk to Kelsey?" "I'm sure Kelsey would love that. Here she is now."

He handed me the phone.

"I hate you."
"You do?"
He sounded sick.
"Oh sorry...I didn't mean it like that. Not you. I was talking to Sidney. Anyways, what's up?"
"I'm sick."
"I'm sorry. Feel better. Are you coming to tomorrow's game?"
He sneezed.
"No. I can't. The coach won't let me come. He doesn't want me getting anyone else sick."
Awe.
"That really sucks. You get some sleep. You hear me?"
He nodded through the phone.
"Alright. Bye. Hey Kelsey, can I ask you something?"
"Sure. Anything."
"Do you like anyone on the Penguins? I mean other than Sidney?"
"Not really. Not even Sidney. I mean not that way. But no. Why?"
"Just wondering."
He sneezed again.
"Hey...about what I said earlier...I'm sorry."
"Nah. It's fine."
"Hey. I'm coming back tomorrow. So I'll see you then?"
"Yeah. Bye."
"Bye. Feel better."
"Thanks."
I hung up.

"And...?" I shrugged.

"What? He was just sick. And tired. So I made it quick."

"Quick? Haha. Whatever. So you're going back tomorrow?"

"Yeah. I kinda have to. I mean I can't just start my job without-. Never mind."

I leaned my head against the window. "You alright?" I nodded.

"Tired is all."

We pulled up to this HUGE hotel, (I think it was a Marriott.) and grabbed our stuff.

***

"Hello. I'm here with the Pittsburgh Penguins? I'm Sidney Crosby." She handed him two keys.

"One for you and one for your sister." What the hell?!

"Sid, I'm not-." He shut me up.

"Thank you. C'mon Taylor." I followed him until we got to the room.

"Sweet room. I'll take the couch." He looked at me.

"Why?" I shrugged.

"I don't know. Gd'night." He smiled.

The last thing I remember was falling asleep on the couch. That's it.

I woke up next to Sidney. Something I'm sure will not happen often.

"Hey." He looked at me.

"Morning beautiful." He thinks I'm that pretty?! Damn.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"6. Go back to sleep." I couldn't. I had to be at ESPN by 8.

"I can't. I've got to get ready to go to ESPN at 8." He sat up.

"Well...I'm glad you're up. Most of the team is here by now. I'd better go find coach." I smiled as he left.

Damn why didn't he kiss me on the forehead or something? I mean I was ready, but...ah to hell with it. He's hot and that's all that matters.

***

"Morning." I said as I walked in.

"Hey rookie. Scott is over there waiting for you." I picked up a microphone as I walked into Scott's office.

"Hey. I'm Kelsey." He stood up and offered his hand.

"Nice to meetcha. I'm Scott. So I hear you're gonna be our new reporter?" I smiled as I sat down.

"Yup. That's me. I was told to interview the captains of both the New York Islanders and the Pittsburgh Penguins?" I wasn't sure.

"Yes. You've got your mic, now we need to go find you a camera man." I followed him down a hallway.

"Hey Sidney. This will be your reporter, Kelsey." We smiled at each other, not hinting that we already knew each other.

"Hi Sidney." He flashed his million dollar smile.

"Hey Kelsey. Well...I'll se you in a bit down at the arena?" Scott raised his eyebrows.

"He knows he's gonna get interviewed later. Anyways, I need a cameraman. I'll see you around Sidney." I waved as I walked away.

My phone went off during the process of getting a cameraman.

Unknown name/unknown number: Hey.
Me: Who the hell is this?!
Unknown name/unknown number: Brandon Sutter??
Me: Brandon, how in the hell did you get this number?!
Unknown name/unknown number: Sid gave it to me

Unknown name/unknown number: Don't feel bad. It's my fault for asking for it.
Me: I feel so bad now!! :'(
Unknown name/unknown number: Thanks. That means a lot.
Me: sarcasm really helps
Unknown name/unknown number: that means??
Me: I've gotta go interview Sidney.
