Tessa p.o.v: I woke up,to chance still asleep next to me,I check the time and it just turning 10am,so I decide to wear a Tessa brooks hoodie,and some shorts because every hoodie of jakes remind me of Anthony and his smile I could die for

I can't think that,he cheated on me and still probably at that girls house. I decide to come back in to the den and go on my phone till I get a text from my mom 

Mom💘-hey sweetie,do you want to ring me I have something important I need to tell you x

This is probably the time she's going to tell me she has cancer,so I text her back with tears in my eyes

Me:yeah I will ring you 2 minutes,just need to go somewhere private x

I didn't want to wake chance up,so I headed downstairs and to the garden 

Mom💘-yeah it's fine x

So when I get to the garden luckily no ones downstairs I don't think, I didn't check the office but the door was shut so I guessed 

So I rang her, with some tears running down my cheeks,sitting on the sofa,after 3 rings she picked up

Tessa:hey mom 

Mom:hey sweetie are you sitting down because this is really big news 

Tessa:yeah I am mom, I know what your going to tell me,2 days after my birthday Taylor told me you have cancer mom,I'm so sorry

I just burst into tears,I can hear she's in tears to 

Mom:don't cry,I will fight as much as I can ok,I need to go to work,love you Tessa 

Tessa:love you mom

She hung up and I burst into tears again,then everything from last night came back to properly and I started going into more tears. Then Jake came outside ran next to me 

Jake-Tess what's wrong 

Tessa-oh it's nothing 

I wipe my tears,but they kept coming,he pulled me into a hug 

Jake-tell me 

Tessa-the first night we got to coachella my sister told me my mom had cancer,my mom has just phoned me telling me she has cancer.

I burst into more tears and put my face in my hands and digged my face into his chest 

Jake:I'm so sorry Tessa 

Tessa:at coachella me and Anthony,got together like girlfriend and boyfriend and he cheated on me last night,I don't know if he's back now and did you go to that girls house 

Jake:I'm so sorry Tessa,and no I didn't, I got back at 3 this morning

Tessa:oh ok 

Jake:I can go to target and get ice cream and junk food if you want 

Tessa:can I come with you,would be nice to get out a bit 

Jake:of course quickly,get some trackies from the office I've just brought them in 

I nod,I run to the office,get red trackies and my purse,phone and get in jakes car 

Tessa:these trackies are well comfy 

Jake:I know right, you might want to text the group chat to say where we are going 

Tessa:your right 

So I text the group chat
