I woke up to Rain in my room holding her pillow with tears running down her face "what's wrong baby" I whispered not sure if Stephen could hear me "the nightmares" was all she said and I held my hands out to give her a hug "can I sleep in here Tonight?" She whimpered "of course hun" I said and moved over so she could lay down I looked at my alarm.
3:34 am It read I sighed and layer my head back down and played with rains hair to help her fall asleep I closed my eyes and then I heard a noise "oh great" I said to myself "can't a girl get some sleep" I said out loud to no one that's when I heard a "no sleep Is for the weak" and I looked up to Stephen in my room "what are you doing?!" I said not loud enough to wake Rain "um sleeping in here? Duh" he said as he put his blanket down and pillow on the floor right next to the bed "you're weird" I said to him feeling nervous because was I probably looked like straight up shit and he looked fine like he wasn't just sleeping and snoring "and you're unique" he replied flipping on his side facing the opposite direction to me "I'm actually boring but ok" I said to him and closing my eyes making sure he wasn't going to pull anything I don't know him that close " Far from it boring people don't hangout with people like me" he said tiredly "people like you" I repeated to myself "what do you mean by that?" I asked looking at him not all my attention fixed on him "just I'm so big and scary and you're a small little girl" I felt a bit offended "Little girl? Um??? I'm almost 18 so what do you mean" I said glaring at him "whatever you say princess" he replied barely awake "hm ok well goodnight you butthead" I said remembering rain was right by me.
{time skip to the morning}
I yawned and sniffed.
"Bacon and eggs?" I said as I got up putting my slippers on "what the hell" I said as I seen rain watching spongebob and Stephen...Shirtless??? Making eggs and bacon "where is your shirt?!?!" I said looking at all his muscles

"It got hot so.." he replied smirking at me because I had unicorn slippers on "don't look at me and put on a shirt. Rain did you pick out a outfit? we might go to a museum today" I said remembering I had to go support my friend Casey with her art.
"Yes! And can you do my hair?" She replied with hoping eyes "I always do" I said smiling "why are you guys going to a museum they are boring" Stephen asked looking at me with a confused face "my friend Casey paints and she wants me to come you can come too if you're not busy" I replied staring back "PLEASE COME STEPHEN IT WILL BE SO FUN!!" Rain exclaimed loudly I cringed " I don't think i'll be able too today I have to get back to my work. My boss is already angry with me" he said chuckling to himself "well maybe another time" I said starting rains hair which was just braids "yeah maybe" rain said sadly
"breakfast is done" Stephen yelled Me and rain both ran to the table me drying my hair because I just got out of the shower "thank you" said rain and me at the same time which caused us to blush and giggle I swear I was such a kid at times but whatever "no problem" replied Stephen finishing his food and grabbing his stuff "I got to head home and then to work so i'll text you yeah?" Stephen said to me as he hugged Rain and then kissed my forehead which caused me to blush thank god I'm black because I would be a mess "yeah cool" I said as rain continued to eat her food and me washing our dishes "bye!" Stephen yelled as he walked out closing the door behind him "well are you ready?" I said to rain smiling at her
{time skip}
Once we arrived at the museum rain ran off to find the snacks they had held out "um excuse me beautiful" said a unknown voice to my right "oh sorry I said looking to to meet the person behind the voice He was a very attractive man not as attractive as Stephen but attractive "it's ok so what brings you here?" He asked smiling at me showing off his Pearly white teeth "um my friend paints and she's showcasing her art" I replied honestly looking around for her I don't know why but something about this guy is off "well my names venny and could I possibly get your number so we could maybe get a drink sometime" he said staring at me "um sure it's ************" I panicked because I really didn't want to give it to him but he made me nervous and I just wanted to go find Rain and my friend "um I have to go find her but you can text me if you want" I said as I started walking away "bye beautiful!" He said smiling at me "bye sir" I said awkwardly back " wow" I said to myself finding my friend and rain was looking at the art.
