That courage she has to face her demons
and stand like stone accepting
her reality.
Overclocked brain, in the background meanwhile
"try, try, try again".
Strategic planning and a basic resilience:
perhaps it's stubbornness,
that core of steel under apparent
resignation.
Listening, learning, trying again
success is redefined a hundred times
and often in small ways conquered.
Yet we call this "mental illness",
this inability to accept the unacceptable,
this still persistent movement
toward change.
