My eyebrows raise and I look at Amal shocked "May you do what?" I ask with a look of shock and a little bit of a death glare for putting me into this uncomfortable position, He dosen't seem to notice my tone of voice, or body language at all. 

Boys.. So clueless.

  Amal's voice interrupts my thoughts, and he says "So, what's your answer?" he looks at me with a hopeful expression in his eyes that he will get his first kiss today. 

"I'm not sure, It's kinda of unexpected.." My voice trails off slightly. Damn, Although, I do like him I really want to save my first kiss for someone special. That overclouds my desire to kiss him and I decide defenitiley  ( Sorry, for bad spelling) that I will not kiss him. 

He looks at me with sad puppy dog eyes, that could melt even the most cold-hearted person I know...

"No" I say quietly and run back to the car as quickly as I possibly can. I don't even know if Amal heard what I said, but I really don't care.

Ommi sees the distress in my eyes and asked what happened? 

"Nothing, Ommi just some stupid drama."

"You've never acted that way to drama before, are you sure you're all right?" She looks at me with what must be the most serious facial expression I've ever seen her do. "What did the Amal boy do?" She asks figuring it out immediately without even thinking about it.

"He didn't do anything"

"Jamilia Leni Jabar, You are going to tell me right now what that Amal boy did." I have to tell her so she doesn't blow up.

"Amal asked me to kiss him" I say embarrassed with the color red tinting my cheeks. 

"Did You Kiss that boy?" She says and I can sense that she's getting angrier.

"No, Ommi" 

"Do you like that boy?"

"Yes." 

"Does he like you?"

"I can only assume so since he asked to kiss me.."

"Boys can do things out of lust, and so can girls. He probably likes you though.. We will definitely have to ask Allah for guidance on this matter."

"Ok, Ommi"

"Say yes, don't say okay, I don't want you to become American on that matter"

"Yes, Ommi"

"Ommi, what do you mean become American on that matter, we're already very American?"

"There are some things you can be American on but that is definitely an issue where you cannot."

"Ok, Ommi"
