Lily,
I'm sorry.
But I can't accept the fact that you're going out with someone who is nowhere near the same level as we are. He has no job? No future plans? I understand you will just get out of school, but seriously?
I'm married now. And you showed up to the wedding with James, but Vernon obviously did not like that. Especially the fact that your wizard boyfriend was there, talking about his car as if he had the year car. I started to think just like him, like my husband.
We can't be in the same world anymore, Lily Evans. Or should I say Lily Potter? That's right. I saw the ring. I don't know if its what we say, a promise ring, but it seemed like you were finally finding your prince charming, the same time I found mine. And it kills me internally that I have to let you go once and for all. My life has finally started. I'm special to someone that loves me with all their heart.
And I've never been happier.
Even before you left me.
Signed, Petunia Dursley.
