I'm glad I told him and he still wants me in our child's life.

I hold Freddie close as he cries and rub his back slowly.

Freddie sniffles and pulls back from me and looks up at me.

"Where does that leave us?" Freddie's asks me as he rubs his red eyes.

"Do you want me in our child's life? I want to be, but it's entirely up to you." I tell him and hold his hands in mine.

He nods furiously with a bright smile on his face. "I'd love that!"

I hug him close again and think of the future ahead.
