I watched as they buried brandy in the ground. Michael held me tight and I just cried in his arms

     "Jacklyn.. it's ok" he said crying as well

My mom came over and hugged me.

      "I'm so sorry baby" my mom cried. I wiped my tears away and headed back to the car with Michael. We sat in the car and I looked out the window and didn't say not a word. Michael looked over and pulled my arm

I turned around and gave him a look.

      "Someone ran out after brandy was shot.. I don't know who it was" I blurted out

      "I do" he said looking down

"And you didn't tell me?" I said getting angry

      "Calm down and we can look back on the cameras in that building where the party was"

      "It's not gonna bring brandy back so does it really matter?" I said

      "Jacklyn.. we can't just give up, we need to figure out who killed her" he explained

      "That person needs to pay" I said

8:00 pm

Me and Michael was sitting outside the building and the place was lockdown because of the crime scene. We had on black and I had a black mask and trust me, I didn't like that shit.

     "What's the hold up" I said to Michael

He looked out around the car and looked behind the car.

     "There's a police car right there" he pointed

Ignoring my fucking question

     "Shit.. well ain't that great" I said

The police drove away and we got out headed over to the door.

      "Let's go"

Michael broke open the lock and looked around being paranoid as ever. He was able to break the lock and we slowly open the door

     "God it stinks in here" I groaned

We got to the security room where the cameras were and we replayed the video. After brandy got shot, a guy ran out. We identified him

     "It's so clear.. who the hell is that?" I asked

      "Gavin Jenkins.. Paul's son" Michael said

      "Do you know him?" I asked

"We were friends in high school.. very unfortunate I guess"

        "Where is he staying right now?" I asked

      "He stays in a apartment complex on Maine street..low budget" he said

      "Well let's go then"
