Mathew gets killed and I go shopping

I woke up and noticed Max had disappeared but he had left a note on the bedside table. I picked it up and began to read it. hey Beth, hope you had a good night's sleep, I had to go talk to my pack I'll be pack at 10, left some clothes out be ready. I looked over at the clock and realise it was 9:15 I had to be quick. I picked up some clothes which I presume were the clothes he left because they were the only girls clothing in here and I went into the bathroom. I stiped out of my clothes and got into the shower. The warm water felt good on my skin and I didn't want to get out but because I knew I had to I got out, dried myself and put on the outfit (without the bag).  I put my hair in a plait before walking back out. I had been wondering ever since I read the note what he meant by be ready because I didn't think he would let me out. "I'm back" I hear him say and I turn around and he's stood at the door, I also noticed he was staring at me which made me feel uncomfortable but before I could say anything he shook his head and walked past me. "breakfast is ready" he said coming out of the bathroom, I didn't even know he had gone in.  I gave him a confused look "we're going to go get some breakfast and then you're going to go shopping and get some clothes but before you get excited its 20 miles away from here and if you try to escape you will not go outside again till I can trust you" he told me. This is perfect I can win his trust by not running away and when the time comes I will run away. "ok" I say. "good now you can meet my pack" he said and I froze, all of his pack I had met so far were cruel. "they won't hurt you" he said and before I had time to react he had grabbed my hand and started dragging my threw hallways. "Jack is looking for you" I hear a voice and a man appears in front of us, he looked similar to Max but younger. "what does he want" Max asked sounding annoyed. "he wouldn't tell me he just told me to tell you and he said you would know what it was about by a name" the man told him. "and what was the name" Max asked. "kai" the man said and I swear I saw a look of panic form on Max's face but it disappeared "ok. can you look after Beth" he asked. "sure, I'll tell the pack breakfast will be in another..." the man said waiting for Max to tell him how long. "10 minutes, I have to go" he said and left. It was just e and the man and it was kind of awkward  "I'm Ethan, Max's brother" he said. "ok" I mumble not sure what else to say. "I heard about you staying in the dungeons and if I'd of been there I would have gotten you out" he said and started to walk down the stairs. I follow him downstairs. "Beth" I heard someone say my name and when I turned round Charlotte was hugging me. "hey Ethan" Charlotte said after she had finished hugging me. "good to see you Charlotte" he said. "so where's Max" she asked. "he went to speak to Jack about something" Ethan answers. Charlotte looked a bit disappointed "well when you see him can you tell him I need to speak to him" she said and ran of. I was a bit upset she didn't say anything to me but it didn't really matter. Me and Ethan walked towards a group of people 3 men and 2 women, they all looked about his age. "friends" he mumbled and we joined them. They started talking about a run or something, they seemed rather excited it was just a run right. "so is that the girl Alpha was talking about" one man asked. "yeah" Ethan answered and the attention was on me I think they were waiting for me to say something but I couldn't because I was frozen to the spot out of fear, Mathew was walking this way, he had a few bruises but I could he had a lot more but they probably healed. "hey what you talking about" Mathew asked Ethan once he had reached us. "the run" a man with messy blonde hair answered. Mathew didn't look bothered all he was interested in was me "Mathew I don't think my brother wants you near her because you put her in the dungeons" Ethan said once he noticed I was uncomfortable. "fine I'll go" he said and slapped my bum I flinched at it and before Ethan could do anything we all heard a growl. A black wolf made it's way downstairs and I noticed everybody in the room even Ethan and his friends go into panic mode so I did because if they were scared of it then its bad and because I'm human I knew it would hurt. The wolf came up to me and nuzzled its face into my hand. I flinched at his touch which made the wolf look hurt "it's Max" Ethan whispered to me. I notice the wolf was watching me. The wolf smiled at me before grabbing Mathew's leg and dragging him away.
