BETH

Me and Charlotte were eating lunch in town at a café. When Max came back from his run last night he seemed more calm yet still slightly angry. He had also given me my IPad so I had been playing on that. "so wanna go shopping after" Charlotte asked and I shake my head. We had done enough shopping. "fine" she mumbled and we continued eating. A couple minutes later she broke the silence "did you hear about Alice" I wouldn't be surprised if Charlotte told me she was planning to kill me. "no what about her" I answer. "well after your little fight, Max made her wash the dishes for the next 2 weeks. However I heard from one of her friends she's planning to make Max not trust you. So watch out" Charlotte told me. "how's she going to do that" I ask. "she has her ways. It could be something as simple as putting an escape plan in your room" Charlotte told me. I stared at her in shock that she would actually go that far. "does Max know" I ask hoping he did. "no, I found out earlier today and I haven't seen him yet but you should tell him" she told me. I was about to answer when her phone rang.

"hello"

"what do you want Max"

"okay stop shouting"

"yeah she's here"

"but we're busy"

"fine we're coming"

I look at her confused and she gives me a sad look "what did he want" I ask. "Alice has already done something and he's demanding you come back" Charlotte told me sadly. "just great" I said. We had finished are Lunch so I had to go back and face him. I swear to God if he believes me over her I will not be happy. We slowly made our way back and as we did I felt someone watching us. "what's up" Charlotte asked when she noticed I kept looking around. "err nothing" I answer, she didn't seem convinced though. That's when I saw a man watching me. His eyes were red and he had fangs. All I could think of was VAMPIRE. If Werewolves are real, Vampires must be too. "well we're back. Are you sure you're ok" Charlotte said. I wasn't but I nod. Once she opened the door, an angry Max appeared. "we need to talk" he said. He didn't give me time to answer instead he grabbed my wrist and took me straight upstairs to his or 'our' room.

"did you think I wouldn't find out" he asked once he locked the door. "find out about what" I ask, I know whatever he's talking about, Alice caused it. "your plan to escape" he shouted. So Alice made an escape plan. Max was angry so I decided to use the mate thing. "why would I want to escape, we're mates" Big mistake it got him angrier. "stop, you've been lying to me. You never accepted me" he shouted, he sounded a bit disappointed. What he said was true, I hadn't accepted him as my mate. Sure I liked him but I could never marry him like he said would happen. "I was starting to accept you but I'm glad I didn't completely accept you now. you clearly don't trust me and if you had any common sense you would realise I didn't make an escape plan" I shout back. "you're lying, I found it on you're IPad so tell me how did it get their. "I have no idea" I say and his eyes turn red. "tell me the truth" he growled. "I did but if you don't believe me that's your problem not mine" I  tell him. "I gave you everything but you still lie. All you needed to do was ask and I'd get it " he said. "now your the one lying. I asked to see my family and you said no" I tell him and he rolls his eyes. "give me one good reason why I shouldn't make you spent a night in the dungeon" he asked slightly more calmer. "I don't have one. In fact go ahead. It probably would make me feel safer than here with you" I say and he looked hurt. "fine" he mumbled. I could tell he didn't want to and he was hoping I had a reason. "come on then let's go" he sounded disappointed. "before we go can I ask you a question" I ask. "no you can't. You don't deserve to ask questions besides you just did" and he was angry again. He took my wrist and lead me to the dungeons. "I'll deicide what to do with you later" he told me and shoved me in a cell. he turned to leave but when I spoke he turned around. "are vampires real" I ask. His eyes go red and he glares "yes, never speak of them again" he said. Well Werewolves and Vampires must be enemies. "but" I say and he glares even more "I said never" and with that he was gone.

MAX

I go back to my room and study the map and writing in the 'escape plan'. After everything I did for her I can't believe she did this. My own mate betrayed me. "so you had an argument" Ethan said as walked into my room. "what makes you think that" I ask which makes him laugh. He sat down on the sofa and spoke "you practically dragged her into the dungeons and Charlotte mentioned something about it"  Course she did. "she was planning to escape" I mumble. "well you better hope she was because if she wasn't she won't ever forgive you for not trusting her" he said. "I have proof" I tell him and show him the tablet. He looks at the screen and I can tell he's trying to think of a way for me to change my mind. "well it seems you do actually have some evidence but I didn't come here to discuss your love life" he said and gave it back. "oh and what did you come to discuss" I ask as I sat down. "vampires" that one word makes me go from calm to angry. "what about them" I growl. "one has been spotted in town today" when he says this I think of Beth. She had asked if they were real so maybe she saw it. I told her not to speak about them and she was probably going to tell me she saw them. "I have to go" I say and walk out of my room. 

"Beth we need to talk" I say once I get to the cell she's in. "I don't want to talk" she said and crossed her arms. "if you want to earn a bit of my trust back you will talk" I say, the trust she would earn would be the size of a pea. "I don't want your trust" she said, she was clearly upset. "fine, but you will talk because if you don't you could be responsible for quite a few deaths" I tell her. "fine what do you want to talk about" she answered. "did you see a vampire today" I ask. "I saw a man with red eyes and fangs" she replied. So she had seen a vampire. "where did you see him and what was he doing" I ask. "why do you care. You won't believe me whatever I say and maybe just maybe the vampires will do some damage to your precious town" she said. She really is angry at me but she will help even if I have to make her. "tell me" I demand. "fine, he was near the house and he was watching me. Happy". I wasn't happy at all, he was watching her. "well see you later"

6 HOURS LATER

I laid on my bed thinking about the vampires words before I shot him "she will be mine"   I knew it was about Beth but he was dead so he couldn't exactly take her after all I did rip his head off. I had finally decided what to do with Beth, I was going to mark her then she'll have to accept me. I did want to wait a few months or until she excepted me as her mate but she left me no choice.
