Prologue

The permanent winter melted away and turned into a beautiful summer as the castle was restored to it's former glory. All the memories of the castle and it's inhabitants again alive in the minds of all.

However, at the base of the west wing, salvaged by the magic that had purified the castle and everything that touched it, a man lay, the blood once again rushing through his veins and his lungs filling up with air, life returning to his badly bruised and scarred body.

But his heart was changed. Forever changed, forever darkened and stone cold....
