"Y/n," Leo said, "meet Festus."

My eyes widened and I took a slight step behind Leo. He slightly chuckled and moved away from me. I hunched my sholders and stared at the large meatle drangon infront of me.

His glowing red eyes stared at me. Taking in everything. He made creaking and skweaky sounds, almost like he was talking.

Leo responded to the dragon, "Oh uh no Festus."

"You can understand him?" I asked. Leo nodded.

"Yeah that's the way he talks. I'm really the only one who understands him," he explained.

"What did he say?" Leo's face slightly reddend and he seemed flustered at my question.

"O-oh nothing. Don't worry about it."

"Okay?" I relied, confused.

"Anyway," Leo said to change the topic. "This is Festus. He's my dragon. Plus he's the one who helped me find bunker 9."

"Wow."

"C'mon," he said, becoking me to follow him. "Let's take a ride on him."

"W-what?" I stuttered. "I'm a child of Poseidon. Percy said I should avoid being in the sky."

"Please," Leo begged, giving me puppy dog eyes. "For me?"

I bit my lip. Should I? Percy told me to stay away from the sky. But I couldn't resist those brown eyes. "Fine," I have in. "But only as long as we don't go to high."

"Trust me," Leo said. "This will be fun."

I screamed and held on to Leo tighter as Festus dives down. Leo simply laughed at my fear.

"It's ok n/n," he reasured, "I won't let you fall." He paused, looking into my eyes. I looked away, blushing. Why was I blushing? He cleared his throat. "Festus won't let you fall either."

I filled and loosened my trip on his torso. My heart was pounding aginst my ribs.

Leo's hair was crazy due to the wind and I had the desire to run my hands through ur to fix it. What is wrong with me? I wondered. I almost never wants to touch people. It have them touch me. But when I'm aroumd Leo I just want to be near him.

"Okay Buddy," Leo said patting Festus' side. "Lets land. It's almost dinner time."

Hey guys! How are you? I hope you like the update. I decided to do a short one before I leave for my mission trip tomorow. Wish me luck! Sorry I haven't updated, I've had some writers block.
