-Lyrica's POV

Waking up to faint gunshots is basically a terrible alarm system. I groaned as I slid over to my bed stand to look at my black iTOUCH touchscreen smartwatch to see what emails I got. Sitting up, I grab it and open my fake email account to see if I had any 'unique' messages and I do have one.

One from a gang name Black Bullets. Their leader, Damon, Dakota, Dylan? I know it starts with a 'D' and have an 'A' somewhere in the name, I just can't remember it, just email me.

And that's it. I shouldn't get my expectations high, it's only 7 in the morning on a Monday. Who gets up early anyways? Especially on a Monday!

Well unfortunately me because I have to work; sighing, I went to my closet. I grab a white crop top with the word 'Peachy' on it, shredded jeans, white no-show socks, and my orange vans. I went to my bathroom to do my business and get ready.

Coming out, I see my good friend, Young-Soo, sitting on my sofa eating my last cup of Maru-Chan Chicken Flavored Ramen

Coming out, I see my good friend, Young-Soo, sitting on my sofa eating my last cup of Maru-Chan Chicken Flavored Ramen. I look over to see that my window is agape, which is strange since I never opened it. Stupid window lock and stupid Young-Soo for breaking/entering my apartment and eating my breakfast.

He turns from the cup and smiled, "Yo!"

I pouted and points to the cup. He laughs, "Chill, I'll feed you McDonald's or something when I get paid."

I placed my hands on my hips while he burps aloud. Shaking my head, I went to my fridge and grab my small bag of baby carrots.

Now I only have those nasty off-brand ramen noodles which I save for when I don't have anything else to eat. When I get my check, I have to go grocery shopping, because your girl is without food. To make matters worse, Young-Soo knows that! Yet eats my little groceries anyway, truly a good friend.

"When are you going to leave this shit-hole of an apartment?" he asked.

I give him a dirty look. I know that my apartment is in the crappiest place in the hellish part of Wonbridge. I know that I absolutely need some financial assistance, but I can do this. I have been doing this for a few weeks now and I am going to continue doing so.

He gave me a look and shook his head, "Stubborn woman. Anyway, Hyo-Sonn has been worrying about you since you moved here, hell we've all been."

My glare softens a bit as I took a bite of my carrot, signaling that this conversation is over. Young-Soo walks over with the cup of ramen and my phone.

"Jay asked about you, I think about a week ago."

Seeing me grinning a little, he continues "Yeah. He was throwing a fit about you living in the district. He said and I quote, 'Why the hell she moved there? I could've given her one of my apartments in Crestview, I'm gonna have to beat her ass for living there and not telling me she moved to T-City.' So long story short, he's kicking your ass."
