Why me?

Chapter 1

Screams erupted from the stands as I was on a stage singing little things with Niall, Louis, Liam, Harry, and Zayn. I belted out the lyrics with all my heart and soul. I've never felt this happy in my life. That's when it hit me that this must all just a dream.

I woke up to my roommate Megan jumping on my bed begging me to wake up. "Wake up Nikki I don't want to be late to work again." I finally gave in with a sigh and pushed her off my bed so I could get ready for work. I grabbed my crop top and short shorts from my uniform draw and quickly slipped it on. I work at this club and we get better tips the less clothing you're wearing. I'm a drink server at the "hip" club called Aura. The club is pretty popular but on our slow days the manager lets me go on stage and sing. Sadly that only happened once and that was only because the band that was scheduled cancelled on us. I'll have worked here for about a year next month. I quickly grab my tea and head out the door. Megan is waiting impatiently in the car. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" I say as I buckle my seatbelt. "Really tea?" She looks at me like, we could already be at work by now. We speed off in the direction of the club.

Once we pulled up to the club the manager walked up to greet us which was weird because he rarely talks to us. "Hey girls I just wanted to inform you that the band who's performing for us tonight is one direction and their manager wants them to perform at their best so please don't talk or disturb them. Thank you girls. You may proceed." I can't believe 1D is performing here. I mean I'm a fan of them and all. I'm just not a fan girl. But Megan is definitely a fangirl especially when it comes to one direction.

After about and hour of working this place was getting extremely full. I guess it's cuz 1D is going to be performing tonight. "And tonight's entertainment is the one the only ONE DIRECTION!!!!" I heard the announcer Tom say loud and clear. Next thing I knew I saw the five boys walk on stage and the crowd screaming their lungs off.

As I was serving drinks I was humming along to all their songs as they sang them. Honestly I liked hearing them live a lot better then through my downloads. You can hear the harmonies and the melodies as they flowed together perfectly. Me and Megan did Rock Paper Scissors to see who was gonna lock up tonight. Sadly I lost.

Finally at about 11:30 the place was cleared out and I was free to leave. I decided that since I was by myself I should sing a song just to get that fun stage feeling in me. I walked up the stage and grabbed the mic and started to sing somebody from that Disney movie lemonade mouth.

"Can you see me?

Then I was interrupted by clapping and I thought I was alone but I guess I was wrong.
