Juuzou and his Princess: Lesson 1

You tightened the ribbon around your waist, trying to recreate the feeling of the corset the CCG stole from you.
This was your and Rei's first day of school and you couldn't help but notice that the people in your class looked at you and Rei differently than the way they looked at the rest of your classmates.

Trying to ignore the cold stares of the people observing you, you spent your time staring down at your feet until you felt a poke on your cheek.

"Are you okay? " Rei asked, his red eyes a mix of curiosity and concern.
"You're making the same face that you made when you ripped the new dress Mama bought for you. "

You managed to give Rei a weak smile but before you could do anything else, a boy in your class banged their hands on your table.

"We all know what you did! " he said, wearing a disgusted look on his face.

Rei glared at him, the concern in his eyes gone, replaced by a look you knew all too well.

"I advise that you animal-killing freaks leave befo-"

The bystanders jumped slightly when Rei silenced the boy by punching him in the face.

"Why you little-" the boy started but stopped when the teacher walked into the room, guided by a pair of twins.

You've started to fidget with your ribbon again when a black haired girl sat down in Rei's empty seat.

"You don't have to worry about him" she said, giving you a reassuring smile. "I told the teacher that he was provoked so he'll probably get let off with just a warning this time."

"She's right, " the white haired one spoke up from behind her sister.
"they only went to the teacher's office to get lectured."

After a few moments of silence, the black haired twin spoke up again.

"We're sure you wouldn't have killed the animals if you had a choice. "

"What do you mean? " the people in this class spoke about very strange things.

"We mean that you probably wouldn't have hurt any of the animals if your friend didn't force you to do it. "

"Rei didn't force me to do anything! "

"Of course he didn't." the brown haired girl agreed hurriedly, sensing your anger and changing the subject.

"My name's Shizuku and that's Kurona and Nashiro." she pointed at the twins in turn before turning back to you.

"What's your name? "

"[y/n]. "

"Do you think we could be friends?" the brunette asked shyly.

You quickly surveyed the girls surrounding you before nodding. They didn't seem too bad.

Juuzou's P. O. V

I kicked the ants on the ground while I waited for [y/n] to come out of the school. I was suspended for the rest of the day but I didn't want to go home without her.

Watching from the school gate, I frowned at the sight of [y/n] waving goodbye to the twins from our class. Twins were weird- what is supposed to happen to the other twin if one of them died? Besides, if [y/n] wanted friends then she already had me.

You'd just finished waving goodbye to your new friends when you felt a sharp tug on your hand. Rei pouted at you before pulling you along with him.

"What were you doing with the twins? " he asked, sounding like a spoilt child.

You grinned to yourself. Rei was always cute when he was jealous.

"Why are you smiling?" he asked with the same adorable tone.

"Sorry," you say chuckling slightly "it's just that you're really cute when you're jealous. "

"Really? " he asked with wide eyes.

You nodded.

"Cuter than the twins? "

"Definitely cuter than the twins."

"YAY~"

You smiled as Rei pulled you into yet another bear hug.

"Race you back home!!!" he sang, skipping happily towards the school's dormitories.

You followed him, a bright smile plastered onto your face. School was going surprisingly well for you.
