Louis' POV

"Jenna, you can't pack properly, can you?" I asked yet again that day, laughing. It had been about two months after her concert, and she now had everything in L.A with her. We found a small apartment, and she had decided to move in. I spent most of my time with her, at least when I wasn't with the boys or my family. I had helped her pack up in Oregon, and it was obvious who the boxes were packed by when they were opened.

Majoritively, we were done packing. I moved boxes up the stairs where the two bedrooms were, and we had one done. We unpacked her room last, starting with big items and digging through the boxes after. I cut open another box after shoving the last one packed by her over to where she was sitting. The box I opened contained a few books and a keyboard.

"You play?" I asked Jenna, laying the keyboard down on her bed. She nodded, stacking the notebooks in a drawer in her nightstand. I sat down on her bed, laying it across my lap. I turned it on, and messed with a few keys before remembering a few songs. Jenna walked out to make sure she locked her door, so I kept myself busy by playing the opening of How To Save a Life by The Frey. I sang softly, as it was a bit late.

"Step one, you say, "We need to talk."

He walks, you say, "Sit down. It's just a talk."

He smiles politely back at you

You stare politely right on through

Some sort of window to your right

As he goes left and you stay right

Between the lines of fear and blame

You begin to wonder why you came," I felt myself grow louder as I hit the chorus.

"Where did I go wrong? I lost a friend

Somewhere along in the bitterness

And I would have stayed up with you all night

Had I known how to save a life." I sang as Jenna sat down next to me.

"Well, I guess you play too, don't you?" She smirked, chuckling. I kissed her forehead, smiling to myself.

"I'm gonna get changed." She said, bouncing up. I took that as my signal as well, and stripped my clothing off as I slid on basketball shorts I had bought the first time we went shopping together.

I sat back down with the keyboard, Jenna curled to my body, head on my shoulder. Her entire being was next to me, and I loved it. I loved having her a few short minutes from me.

"Hey there Jenna

What's it like in L.A's City?" I sang, smiling down at her. She blushed, shoving her face into my bare chest. I continued to sing and play.

"I'm a thousand miles away

But girl, tonight you look so pretty

Yes you do

Times Square can't shine as bright as you

I swear it's true

Hey there Delilah

Don't you worry about the distance

I'm right there if you get lonely

Give this song another listen

Close your eyes

Listen to my voice, it's my disguise

I'm by your side

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

What you do to me

Hey there Delilah

I know times are getting hard

But just believe me, girl

Someday I'll pay the bills with this guitar

We'll have it good

We'll have the life we knew we would

My word is good

Hey there Delilah

I've got so much left to say

If every simple song I wrote to you

Would take your breath away

I'd write it all

Even more in love with me you'd fall

We'd have it all

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

A thousand miles seems pretty far

But they've got planes and trains and cars

I'd walk to you if I had no other way

Our friends would all make fun of us

and we'll just laugh along because we know

That none of them have felt this way

Delilah I can promise you

That by the time we get through

The world will never ever be the same

And you're to blame

Hey there Delilah

You be good and don't you miss me

Two more years and you'll be done with school

And I'll be making history like I do

You'll know it's all because of you

We can do whatever we want to

Hey there Delilah here's to you

This one's for you

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

What you do to me." I sang gently, Jenna now under my arm, sound asleep. I smiled, laying the instrument on the soft carpet. I stood up, pulling the sheets down. I swing myself over Jenna, pulling the blankets back up over us. I held her to me as I got comfortable, pressing my face into her neck.

"Louis?" Jenna whispered in a tired voice. I chuckled, my arm over her hip.

"Yes?"

"I love you." She sighed, falling asleep again.

"I'm in love with you." I mumbled as I pressed my lips to the back of her neck.
