After some directions from the locals, Andrew stopped by the lavish eight-story tall building in the centre of town that he's come to understand as the mayor's home base. Meeting the reception worker behind the desk he is faced with a middle-aged man. As Andrew explained himself and his part in the events that shook their home his eyes went from suspicious to downright shock.

Having sensed that he's convinced him of his claims Andrew went straight to the main topic.

"-then I was told by the locales who had seen it that the mayor was among the last ones to talk to them, so is there anyways I can get a few minutes with him?"

The man scratches his chin broodingly as he looked to one of many private rooms behind Andrew, one in of them stood out because the clear mumbles of a convocation taking place within it could be heard from where Andrew was standing.

"Well he is still rather busy unless he deems your worth more important than what he's discussing then he likely going to tell you to come back later."

"Then let him know that it is rather important, please."

"Does he know you by any name?"

It was then that Andrew paused to think.

"I don't think he does, in fact, I have yet to see him in person." He sighed.

Folding his lips to one side and man ponders on regarding the matter before getting up and making his way towards the private room.

"I'll try and convince him with what I have,"

With that, the receptionist went up to the private door before knocking lightly and opening it carefully. Andrew could just about pick up his hush words as he talked to his boss within the room. His last sentence repeated as a question by Mayor Mormon before he poked his head around the door to get a look at him.

Shaking his head and telling his employee that he does not recognise him Andrew was about to storm up to him and protest until he hears another voice telling the mayor to wait a moment. Recognising this voice as Aaliyah's he was presently surprised to see her so suddenly pop her head out from the door also only to cheerfully inviting him into the room with a welcoming smile.

"So, in other words, you were dumped," Aaliyah said with an annoyingly amused grin that indicated that she understood what he had explained but did not care much for its weight at this given time.

This made Andrew narrow his eyes into thin slits whilst formulating a witty reply. He wanted to put togeather a response but given how fresh the experience was in his head he found it to be a hard endeavour. Aaliyah must have picked up on this because she began chuckling at his silent defeat.

"This is why I told you that being so clingy is not cute; no wonder she felt too afraid to tell you this to your face."

"What do you know about any of this?" Andrew hissed through gritted teeth.

"Sorry, sorry. I didn't mean to offend you. It's just kind of amusing that's all." She said whilst putting her hands up in surrender as she tried to calm herself down. "To be young and in love, must be hard huh?"

Andrew just averted his gaze from Aaliyah in embarrassment, instead opting to look at both Mormon and Darwin both sitting on a chair and leaning against a wall respectively as they watch the banter unfold. Seeing that it has reached its end the mayor nodes his head slowly whilst pondering.

"That makes sense," he mumbled. "Though it came to my knowledge that there was one other man who fought the great fight on our behalf I had imagined that you would have travelled onwards with your partners. I just assumed that our paths simply never crossed when I met them this morning for whatever reason."
