Can I Fall Back on You? (Karma Akabane x Reader)

Your POV
It's the third day of school during PE class with your new PE teacher, Karasuma Tadaomi of the Ministry of Defense.

You kept swinging at the air with your anti-Koro Sensei knife at Karasuma~sensei's command. "Ichi (one)! Ni (two)! San (three)! Yon (four)! Go (five)! Roku (six)! Nana (seven)! Hachi (eight)!" You and all of your classmates shouted. (A/n- I finally edited this to the correct numbers... I appreciate all the comments telling me the correct numbers!)

You had stopped as Koro Sensei wanted to help teach but he was impossible! "It is much better and easier with a human teacher..." You said blinking at Koro Sensei who had three different copies of him. "Go back to the sandbox!" Karasuma~sensei commanded. Koro Sensei slumped over and dragged himself over to the sandbox.

"Is there a point for us to be doing this sorta practice? Especially with our target in front of us?" Maehara questioned. "Studying and assassination are the same. If you know the fundamentals of both you can prove your usefulness. Now, Maehara~kun and Isogai~kun, try getting a hit on me with those knives." Maehara and Isogai looked surprised by this.

"Those knives don't affect humans, if you simply graze me then we'll end class for the day." With that in mind both boys lunged at Karasuma~sensei but he dodged all of their attacks and stopped them with ease. Guess class isn't over then...

"If you can't hit me than how do you hope of taking down your target that travels by mach 20 speed? Take a look!" Karasuma~sensei pointed back towards Koro Sensei. He had constructed a castle in the sandbox which Karasuma~sensei stated was the Osaka castle. Koro Sensei also was in different clothes and was even performing a... Tea ceremony?!

"The sucess rate of all of your assassination attempts will slightly increase and you may be able to complete a successful assassination— if you can at least land a hit on me. There are many necessities for assassination, such as knives and shooting. I'll be teaching them to you during PE!" Karasuma~sensei claimed.

Class continued for a little longer until it was 6th period and you all started heading back to the school when...

A certain cherry head was standing at the top of the slope.

"Karma~kun?"
"Cherry?!"

"Yo, Nagisa~kun. Who's the girl and why does she know the nickname Y/n gave me?" You puffed out your cheeks. Play that way Cherry! I don't know why I thought about you and even missed you!

You headed up the slope with Nagisa. "Y/n thought about you Karma~kun, don't pretend you don't remember her!" Nagisa said frowning. "He's Cherry Bakabane, I'm not surprised." You rolled your eyes. Karma pat your head. "Just kidding Y/n, I wouldn't be able to forget about you if I tried." I'm confused to take that as a compliment or something else.

"Don't pet meee!! I'm not a neko!" You shouted. "I actually pat your head. Plus, I don't have a cat so you're close enough." He pat your head again. Again, a compliment or is he teasing me? "Speaking of cats, how are yours?" He asked you. Ask about my cats why don't you! Ugh, seriously Cherry!

"They're both fine." You answered. Karma looked at the field and you saw he had took notice of Koro Sensei. "Woah! That's the Koro Sensei I had heard about? He does look like an octopus!" Karma went down the slope towards Koro Sensei.

They were talking but you couldn't really hear them. They shook hands but when they did Koro Sensei's arm blew up. Karma was about to stab Koro Sensei but he had moved back far away from Karma. Holy crap! Cherry's the first one to hurt Koro Sensei! If he hadn't backed away Cherry might've been able to kill him!

Koro Sensei's face was really red meaning he was angry.

"Nagisa, I haven't been in class E long so I don't know him. What type of person is he?" You turned to face Nagisa and Kayano. "We were in the same class for our first and second years but he got suspended for committing violent acts. Our teacher and the principal agreed to send him in E class. But he could be considered an honor student in this class..." Kayano puzzled at Nagisa. "Since this is an assassination classroom, sneak attacks and foul play will be involved in which... Karma~kun will probably excel in." Nagisa stated.
