•Chapter 12- Midterm Monday...

The weekend flew by fast and it was now Monday. I got alot of studying done on Sunday and I was pretty confident that I'd get a good enough grade to be ranked at least 3rd... I headed downstairs and noticed Karma wasn't anywhere... Is he still sleeping or is he still getting ready? He wouldn't miss the midterms, the first test is math, his speciality... Could it be that I'm late? I checked my phone to see what time it was and it was 8:27 AM. I'm on time... So where is he?! I checked the train schedule and saw that it arrives at 8:36! We're gonna be late!

I ran up the stairs to see where Karma was. I knocked on his door but didn't get a reply. "CHERRY! WE'RE GONNA BE LATE!" I shouted. "One sec..." I heard his voice from inside the room. "One..." It was one second and I entered the room and immediately backed out. "GOMENASAI!" I bolted down the stairs and out of the house feeling completely embarrassed. "I had to walk in when he was freaking changing, WHYY...." I cried while running to the train station. I can't bear showing my face... Wahhh!

Since I was running I had already arrived at the train station and it was now currently 8:33 AM. I caught my breath and looked back up to see Nagisa? Aww shtiitaki mushrooms, I forgot he takes the train too... "L/n~chan? What are you doing here? You don't take the train." Nagisa questioned. "Oh, uh, hi Nagisa~kun... I umm, slept over at Cherry's house." I replied. "Oh, then where is Karma~kun then?" Nagisa asked. "I think he's on his way." I answered not wanting to think about what had happened. "What's taking him so long...?" Nagisa wondered out loud. "I don't want to talk about it..."

"So, uhm, L/n~chan are you prepared for the midterms?" So many questions! "Yup. I studied alot on Sunday so I'm pretty confident in myself. Now it's my turn to ask the question, how did you spot me out of all these people so easily?" I asked. "Because you wear a different uniform from all the other girls in our class- and school in general." Nagisa replied. "A different uniform?" I questioned. "L/n~chan you wear a black shirt instead of a gray one and you have a black skirt with white edging instead of a gray one with black edging..." Nagisa sweat dropped.

"It's weird that you noticed that and I didn't... Why am I the only one with this outfit than..." I wondered. "I heard that you were suspended at the end of second year... I'm guessing that's why. Plus, didn't you notice that you didn't arrive at school on April 1st li- Oh, the train's here." Wait than where's Cherry?! "Ohayo Nagisa~kun, Y/n~neko." I jumped a little at the sound of Karma's voice coming out of nowhere. Uwahh, I feel really weird right now!

We were inside the classroom while Koro Sensei was talking about the midterms and saying that we'd be going down to the main campus soon.

Home Room was wrapped up and we exited the classroom heading to the main campus. "Y/n~neko, last chance to back out~" What's with him appearing out of nowhere today?! "I'm not a chicken! I will not back out because I know I'll beat you!" I claimed. "Aww, you're cute when you're fired up~"

"What are you talking about! I'm cute in general!" I retorted. "Of course, plus since you're usually always with me during school I always get to see you being cute~" And the flirting begins, but I had a hard time replying since I was feeling flustered. "Y-You say that as if it just slipped off your tongue! Ugh! I'm so flustered right now..."

"Karma~kun, L/n~san, please refrain from flirting with each other as of now, you may bump into something." Koro Sensei informed. "We'll be fine sen-" I begin to say as I bump into a tree. "Poor tree, you should apologize to it." Karma teased. "It? This tree is not an it! This tree is a male! A grandfather tree at that!" I bowed to the wise tree, "Gomen ojiisan!" I apologized. "I don't know you, but I think you may need help." Karma began walking away. "Matte Cherry!" I shouted.
