•Chapter 8- Studying Begins!

Your POV
It was the day after the assembly and it was now Thursday.

I was getting ready for the day but paused as I heard rain pattering down. I better hurry before it gets bad... I ate a quick breakfast and packed a bento. Yesterday when Karma had come over, he brought my bag along with him luckily...

As I wore my shoes the witch appeared... "I won't be home after school, I'll be visiting S/n for the weekend." She said. "Kay'." I replied. "The mid terms are coming up soon, you better do good. Make sure to be in the top 3. I would like to see you have the top score but I doubt that's possible where-" Before she could finish I left with a quick, 'Itte kimasu.' And started making my way to school in the now heavy rain.

I should've brought an umbrella...

I had reached the stairs up to the school completely drenched and sluggishly began to go up the stairs when the rain suddenly stopped hitting my head. I looked up to see a black umbrella and then I looked to my left seeing Karma. "Nekos don't like water~ Poor Y/n~neko. Will your master always have to save you~" I don't like the fact that he refers to himself as 'master' it's unsettling...

"The witch was about to start a rant about how I'm really stupid but actually not and I didn't have time to grab an umbrella." I retorted. "You're completely drenched either way." He said. "No shit Sherlock! Why do you seem more upset about this than I am?" I questioned. "Guess you don't need the umbrella then~" He ran up the remaining stairs leaving the rain to once again soak me. I ran up the stairs after him. Meanieeee!!!

I reached the top of the stairs and raced into the school and then into the classroom. Mostly everyone was dry and the people that weren't dry were only slightly wet... While there's me, completely drenched... I shuffled to my desk and placed my bag down. I looked at my chair and uncomfortably sat down and turned to Karma. "You're meeaann!" I whined. "You didn't seem to need the umbrella Y/n~neko." He smirked. "I... I sometimes just really hate you." I sighed turning to face forwards. "Aww, don't hate me Y/n~neko... I'll be saaadd." He pouted. "Then be sad." I retorted resting my head on my desk.

Koro Sensei finally entered the classroom beginning roll call. After roll call Home Room began. Koro Sensei began explaining that the midterm exams were coming up and today onwards the regular schedule would be different.

"We also have a guarantee student that will be in the top three." Everyone turned to Karma. "Actually L/n~san said she'd be one of the top students." HE REMEMBERED THAT?! CRAAAAPP!! Some people started laughing... "Maybe you can make it to one of the top students of the class." Terasaka tormented. "We all know you'll be last of the class- no, the entire school Terasaka so I wouldn't be talking." I growled.

"Y/n~neko could be a top student, but of course I'll be number one." Karma stated. "I will get a better grade than you." I challenged. "Want a bet~? Whoever gets the better grade gets to order the other person around." Karma said. "Deal. You're going down Cherry!"

"Nyurrrfufufufur. It seems like L/n~san and Karma~kun made a bet. Well minna, make sure you all do your best." Koro Sensei said. Can I actually beat Karma? Probably not. Why did I make the statement that I could beat Karma and agree to the bet? Cuz' I'm a complete baka... As long as I'm in the top three it'll be fine, Karma won't force me to do anything to terrible! I think..

Koro Sensei continued to talk about midterms and how our schedule was gonna look like until Home Room was over. The studying begins....

A bunch of Koro Sensei clones with headbands appeared and one was at everyone's desk. The one at my desk had a '英語' sign on the headband. "Your weakest subject is English L/n~san. Your scores in that subject are very good though... So, why is that your weakest subject?" Koro Sensei asked. "Because Jelabitch~sensei is a bad teacher." I answered. "That isn't it L/n~san! It's because you usually skip English or you never pay attention! When I was teaching English you didn't pay that much attention either! Besides, you've skipped the lessons Irina~sensei actually has taught." Which is like, two?
